I just finished watching the speech given by Dr. Benjamin Carson at the National Prayer Breakfast on February 2, 2013. It is the most awe inspiring speech I have ever heard and I am 72 years old. I strongly urge everyone to watch and listen to the speech which is 27 minutes long. I am not sure I know how to post a URL, so enter www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2013/02/07/. When the screen comes up, click on the third item listed which is Dr. Carson's speech. It is easy to notice that President Obama appeared to find it very difficult to acknowledge that every aspect of the speech applied directly to him. Why could we not have a leader with Dr. Carson's wisdom and profound understanding of what is needed to return this country to greatness.

He has stated that folks have asked him to run for Pres. He has great thoughts, just a tiny bit of an "attitude" that I cannot explain, but very commone sense.

So obviously we could never appreciate anything he has to say since we are all racists because we oppose TOTUS. <sarcasm off> If you watch the video and Obama's face and body language it will tell you everything you need to know about his arrogant narcissism. At least his wife had the class to clap when the rest of the audience clapped. But not Oblamer.......nope......I am sure he was sitting there thinking "Why do I have to listen to this uncle tom lecture me? I am his messiah and as Chris Rock said, his daddy!"
Of course what he said made absolute sense to those of us that believe in limited government, personal responsibility, faith and morals. To the big government types like Oblamer it is antithetical to what they believe in....which is their own ability to make better decisions for us than we do ourselves. He did go to Harvard you know........of course we know he would not have gotten in had it not been for affirmative action and he is hiding his grades because they stunk but when you have low expectations set for you it is much easier to slide on by. I would recommend The Road to Serfdom by Hayek but that is a waste of time for left wing nuts. Their ability to think critically and make decisions based on facts, reason and logic rather than emotion is totally absent.

The answer to your question is really simple. Dr. Carson is elected President (in your dreams). The Senate, the House and the third congressional entity, lobbyists, would block, bluster, delay, dilute, etc. anything Carson tried to accomplish. And, they could do it. And, they would to protect their job and their income from the Public Feeding Bucket.
Combine the pressure from a socialist media on illiterate voters, then add financial pressure from special interest groups and liberal legal thought tanks, and this man is Dead On Arrival. It is going to take something that shocks the American People for a change to begin.

I think it started about the time Oblamer took office but it's just now starting to hit the left and will hit them hard before some will fall. While the right is still bewildered what happened to fool so many into reelecting him again. Some just will not have it that anything Oblamer says is not going to happen when all they need to do is open their eyes maybe a little wider or stop paying them something for nothing. Maybe they can start paying their way at some point although it's not likely. Why pay when you can get it free until the bill has to be paid at some point.
