So it seems, according to Mother Jones News, that the prominent T-party PAC and advocacy group Freedom Works (any of you guys familiar with this bunch?) led by Matt Kibbe actually produced a video which was to be shown at a Freedom Works Conference last July. The video featured 2 members dressed as Hillary Clinton and a panda engaging in oral sex!! Cooler heads apparently prevailed and the clip was not shown. No Freedom Works members or officials have denied that the video was made. Board member C Boyden Gray (legal counsel to Pres G.H.W. Bush) and another board member have appointed 2 attorneys to investigate this and other troubles in the organization.
No wonder Dick Armey bailed...he's crazy but not that crazy and he's not stupid!!
LMAO!!!
Wonder why this is not headline news in the "Liberal Main Stream Media". Hope it soon will be. If it had been a video with Condi Rice and an "animal" (baby elephant maybe) done by say...the NEA, ACLU or Center for American Progress, do you think it would be getting any mention on FOX???

If it have been a Condi Rice video would the govt media have shown it? Of course we know the answer to that one because there were tons of cartoons by the left during the Bush administration that showed her as a monkey. But I doubt they showed that on PBS or CNN so you probably never heard that one did you?
But my question looking at the stories is whether anyone has actually seen the video? I don't know much about Freedom Works but if they did indeed produce such a video they will deserve what they get. What they need to do is switch to the Democrat party, change Hillary to Nikki Haley and the money will roll in and they will get invited to all the best cocktail parties on the upper west side.

Am I to assume you are so sheltered you have never seen any of the more recent cartoons showing Obama as a monkey? Do you as soundly denounce them as you do the Condi Rice version?
The point of my question in the original post is, if the media (FOX excepted of course) is so controlled by the "liberal establishment" why in heavens name has this obscenity against a well known leader of the "liberal establishment" not as yet been trumpeted by that "liberal establishment" media. The answer is...the media IS NOT controlled by the left or right (FOX excepted of course)!!!
BTW: If you think PBS and CNN are slanted left and FOX is "fair and balanced"....well the nicest thing I can say is that either you must not be paying attention or your head is even deeper in the sand than I have assumed.

Actually I am not denouncing either cartoons because I believe in the 1st Amendment. I am merely pointing out the double standard and hypocrisy of the govt media coverage.
As for Fox News, I can assure you they are fairer and more balanced than any of the left wing media outlets you seem to prefer. What you don't seem to understand is the context of Fair and Balanced. They are the antidote to the liberal-dominated govt media and provide what we conservatives seek, hence fair and balanced.
Of course Fox is dominated by conservatives and that is precisely why they are so successful. They cover stories that the govt media refuses to cover or covers in a way that protects their ideological bias. But they also have prominent liberals (Juan Williams, Bob Beckel, etc.) that actually reach more homes than they would if they were on other networks.
At least I have the intellectual honesty to admit who they are and not the willful blindness to pretend they are otherwise. As I told you I generally do not watch any TV news shows but I do know that there are way more leftists on Fox than conservatives on PBS, CNN, pmsnBS, etc. They are just honest about who they are unlike the soon to be extinct networks like CNN. I really don't understand your abnormal fixation on FoxNews. You have so many other choices that cover the news the way you like. Is it just you fear a low information voter ceases to be one if they hear the truth about Democrats and the left? If I were a liberal that would be my number one fear for sure.

If you think FOX is "fair and balanced" and CNN and PBS are biased you have been so brainwashed by the extremes on the right that you are now unable to recognize reality. CNN and PBS give the news and FOX gives the party line. I have no doubt that most of the on-air news staff at CNN and PBS are left of center but make usually successful efforts to be objective. The same cannot be said for rightwing on-air folks at FOX. You say you seldom watch any TV news outlets. Well, watch a couple of mornings of "Fox and Friends" and then a few days of the CNN morning show...then get back to me.
And yes, I do have an obsession with FOX because they use their 1st amendment rights to push a political line that has the potential to destroy the "United" in United States. They yell FIRE every day!!

It is the blatant bias of CNN and PBS that drove me to Fox, and I think you are too dense to comprehend what MM is saying....Fox is the equivalent to Israel in the Middle East....yes, it is biased to the right but it is there (and obviously watched by a LOT of people) to give balance to news coverage. The mainstream media and CNN are so biased, and PBS as well but to a lesser extent, that people wanting to know what REALLY is going on watch Fox. I tune in to MSM stations and CNN every now and then to see if they have come to their senses, but so far have seen nothing that would indicate any lessening of their sickening bias to the left.
So go on with your hate-filled rants against Fox. You are wasting your breath, but hey, for now this is a free country and you can unsuccessfully try to diminish Fox all you wish. In a way I feel sorry for you.

Archie, it's OK for you to stand by your post but from a conservative perspective we see things completely differently. And of course if you look at Gallup polls you will see that a larger percentage of Americans see the media as biased toward the liberal side. And the percentage that are actually deluded enough to think the media is too conservative is a very small minority indeed. That over 90% of the media elites vote Democrat should be proof enough. Fox indeed brings fair and balanced to the news media although not quite enough to overcome all the other outlets but certainly enough to cause liberals to foam at the mouth about them. I guess they don't like competition, especially when it does so well when compared to their business failure.
That you are in the minority on this issue and I am in the majority does make one question who has been brainwashed doesn't it? Liberals.....they believe so much that just isn't so.

MrH: Archie really believes in his heart of hearts than CNN and PBS are unbiased. Granted, according to the majority of polls he is in the minority on that belief. When you have people like Dan Rather saying the WaPo and NYT are "middle of the road" you get the echo chamber that they live in. I have no doubt he too believes that to be true even if the majority of Americans realize otherwise.
What I find most ironic is the accusation that we are blinded or have our heads in the sand. I guess it goes along with the same mentality we see today with TOTUS campaigning against his own sequestration scheme using the same old tired and worn out scare tactics. Sadly though, low information voters seem to just eat it up. World we live in I guess.

Yes, he will continue to try to win his points, but when faced with logic and reason those points will wither as usual. I'm sure he believes in what he posts, but so does the female poll worker who voted twice for herself and again for as many as four others - and thinks she has done nothing wrong.
Archie will continue to try to put you, me, and other conservatives "in our place" and force his way of thinking on us. Hasn't worked yet and won't work in the future. He will spout and fume, and try to force conservatives to agree with him. His antics sometimes remind me of the poster I saw at SAC Headquarters in Omaha in 1970. What is doubly ironic is when the GOP crushed the Dems in 2010 I don't remember him going on and on about how he needed to pull his head out of the sand, etc. But somehow when TOTUS masquerading as Santa Claus wins a 2nd term and Dems hold onto the Senate it is some sort of seismic shift that we are all ignoring. All you need to do is read a little history and you quickly realize that this has been happening in politics forever and that the prognosticators claiming eternal victory or eternal defeat are always wrong.
But then again in my experience liberals have little interest in history. How else do you explain their slavish belief in an ideology that has never worked, is not working and will never work? A true mystery to me.......

I do not think I am in the minority on most issues and on the media. That belief is not only supported by the public polls but was confirmed by the last election. To be sure my opinions are not as prevalent in the deep south (though not as despised as you might believe) but please remember there is a broader nation out there that you should take in to consideration. Every time a national figure such as Lush Windbag or Ted Cruz or Michelle Bachman goes on a right wing rant to polish up their bona-fides with their T party base (similar to you and Mr H's comments in this thread), the much larger proportion of the citizenry who cringe at the thoughts being expressed become more determined to counter what they see as a threat. That is basically what happened in the last election...the GOP through away a golden opportunity by doing and saying stupid things which scared the he// out of America. As I have said many times, unless the GOP can bring themselves to face reality they will soon become irrelevant outside the deep south and a few empty western states. As I have said many times that would not be in the best interests of the nation.

With regard to the election, it was won not by what you believe but by racists who voted for Obama just because he is (half) black, and by those who just wanted to ensure their freebies kept coming. Remove them and the election would have been a landslide victory for Romney.
