If one looks at a picture of vibrant, energetic Hiroshima vs A blighted Detroit and many other large cities one can only conclude that in the long haul liberal government is much more destructive than nukes!

Look closer than Detroit. Just over the border is Atlanta, going down the same slippery slope.

Its funny how different folks see the same things in a completely different way. This months Fortune magazine features an article about how wonderful Atlanta is to live and work. A lot of emphasis is put on the dozen or so Fortune 500 companies headquartered there, the quality of living and what a wonderful job the current mayor and administration are doing. I guess its all about the personal experiences and the spin each person applies.

Atlanta will surely follow Detroit's lead if they keep the same kind of leadership....if you know what I mean. Sometimes the "Peter Principle " applies and there is not enough knowledgeable people there to stop it. I was in both cities within the last six months....having been in Detroit in the '60s before and after the riots, it was really bad to see nothing has been rebuilt. They only move further out to the countryside and build fine million dollar home in the suburbs. Atlanta is following the same concept without the roits and burning. Same type leadership that is filling their pockets with green.

Wouldn't you like to hear "Nancy's" explanation on Detroit's demise?
