pmsnBS has already declared it was right wing extremists. Got to hand it to them, their ability to do the wrong thing all the time is probably their own redeeming quality. Will be interesting to see how this develops. My prediction is that the govt is going to work overtime to try and prove its anyone but Islamofascists. I mean, they can't hate us anymore, right? And if they do determine it was, they will go out of their way to talk about anything else and the govt media will go right along.....sort of like the non coverage of the abortion murderer in Philly. Doesn't fit the template, may make us or el presidente look bad.....must hide the truth. Time will tell but if we are waiting on the Feds to tell us what is happening, all I can say is we are still waiting to see what really happened in Benghazi.......don't hold your breath.

How about the guy at the NYT claiming it was caused by Republicans refusing to confirm the head of ATF? Don't you think its sick that Axelrod said Obama thinks its related to tax day? The bodies aren't even cold and the left's initial reaction is to try to blame the right for this with zero facts. How often have they been wrong?!?!? How may of the mass murderers are leftists but the govt media tried to blame the right with no factual basis?

The article is below and at least we provided a reference. Not sure where yours came from but I will stipulate that this was a stupid comment even though I am not going to confirm its accuracy.
But lets see which is worse...some obscure congressman from Iowa or the President of the U.S.?!?!? I recognize TOTUS has diminished the office of POTUS but really.....that much??!!? 1. I read the article written by a rightwing blogger and talker...even in the article there is no direct statement that "Axelrod said Obama said"...I also listened to the video clip (did y'all?) and heard a reasonable man make a reasonable statement and I cannot see how even the absolute most biased rightwing nut could interpret as him saying for himself "this was a rightwing job" much less him saying Obama said "this is related to tax day".
2. Is there any among you who will be less outraged if it turns out this was not an Islamist attack but rather some rightwing militia action ala Tim McVeigh? What will be the reaction of the Lake Martin crowd if it does turn out to be an anti-tax group or individual responsible? I mean really, will some of you actually at least think in your heart of hearts "well they used the wrong means but I agree with their message." I would hope for an emphatic NO, but based on some of the off the wall rhetoric about today's politics in America that gets posted on this forum, I truly have to wonder.
3. MM has obviously fallen off the "civility" wagon
4. Are you people completely NUTS? For God sake quit putting words and ideas out that only inflame the situation! It's time to let the people who know what they are doing to, hopefully, get to the bottom of this. Now is not the time for anybody, LEFT or RIGHT, to be yelling FIRE in the theater!
5. Now I guess MM will come back and point out that my no 2 comment is not in line with no 4...well he is probably right, but no 2 is an honest opinion which is based on the invective which is such a part of this forum on a daily basis, an opinion that I sincerely hope is a false. I would welcome some real evidence that it is incorrect. We are all Americans who want the best for the nation but disagree on the road leading us there. It is often fun to disagree on this and that but it is disheartening that we cannot agree to keep council to ourselves until the facts are known in such a grave situation as Boston.

Cmon Archie, we all know to what he was referring when he mentioned tax day. If it turns out to be Islamofscists, perhaps you could explain to us why they picked that day of all days. Maybe a better question is why are they running the Boston Marathon on tax day. I think we will find out, assuming they find the perp, that if the Boston Marathon had not been run on tax day they would have still selected the day the race was run as opposed to blowing up a mostly empty street. Duh!
My anger is directed at Americans who are blaming other Americans either overtly or subtly when they have no frigging idea who did this. If someone wants to intelligently speculate it should clearly be of Islamofascists. That at least makes sense given that 95% of these events in the last 10-15 years have been perpetrated by these nut jobs and an equal percentage of terrorist events disrupted were planned by Islamofascists. And no, I am not using the term 95% literally as it could be plus or minus.
And no, I am not off the civility bandwagon because I never said I would be civil to GF. In fact, I think I specifically stated he was fair game because he gives as well as he gets and is not whiney.

Archie, clearly no possibility should be ignored. But that doesn't mean people in responsible positions should be speculating about who is responsible.
But now we have Salon magazine hoping and praying its a white man. That is worthy of our anger that a popular left wing magazine overtly cheers for it to be an American citizen. Personally I hope its an Islamofascist because at least then I can make some sense out of this. They hate America and want to terrorize us and have done this before all over the world. If its some domestic terrorist or just some nut job it will be all that harder to understand how someone that lives in the greatest country the world has ever known could have so little respect for human life.

OK MM, if you can speculate that this would have occurred at the Boston Marathon no matter what the day, then let me speculate (I hate to do this because it makes no sense for either of us to do so)...is it be possible that the fact this happened at the Boston Marathon on April 15th rather than at another big national event one week earlier in Atlanta at the Final Four add any weight to the case that the Tax Day angle should at least be one of the theories to be strongly and thoroughly investigated? Probably not, but if you are going accuse people of making wild speculations and then make them yourself...well be so fair as to speculate all angles and possibilities.

I don't care if you or GF or me or Joe the Plumber speculates about this. My point is that those in govt and those in the govt media have a special obligation because of their respective roles and that they should not be speculating. Your opinion about the possible perp is not entirely unreasonable but I think less likely than mine based on historical facts. But is it possible? Of course. As is mine and maybe we will find out the truth. But neither you nor I are part of the govt or the govt media. If I were I would refrain from speculating and would expect the same from you if you were likewise. This is really not that difficult and I am not sure why you are not able to grasp a very simple point. Of course you are free to disagree and I am likewise free to think you are wrong. Clearly not the first time or the last.
