Taking a page from the Patriot Guard Riders and others, the Boston Teamsters will guard Krstle Campbells Funeral from a potential protest by the Wesrboro Baptist "Church". Below is part of the Teamsters statement:
"Westboro Baptist Church should understand that we will go to great lengths to make sure they don't protest any funerals of the victims of the past week’s tragedies, and that those we lost receive a proper burial."
I applaud the Teamsters' resolve to ensure the Westboro sickos are unsuccessful.

I have no idea what their stance is on homosexuality and I could care less. All I recall is their disgusting protests at military funerals and I can assure you that the "right" and "conservatives" have the utmost respect for the military and honor and cherish their sacrifice, especially those that make the ultimate sacrifice of their lives. I would remind you that the vast majority, if not all, of the protests against the military come from left wing nuts, socialists and communists......in fact, I cannot recall a conservative ever protesting the military......

I think that group defies categorization into a political group. They do fall into a category reserved for those who are hatemongers and have no respect for those suffering the tragedy of losing a loved one. I believe that they are the reason for the formation of the Patriot Guard Riders, a group whos mission is to pay their respects to our fallen military heores and to make danmed sure the Westboro freaks don't get anywhere close. I went to the funeral here in Montgomery for a young man who had been ministered to by our pastor, but was killed in Afghanistan. I can tell you that seeing the PG Riders lining the entry to the church, dressed in their cycle garb and each holding an American flag ends chills down my spine, and at the same time anger at the wackos that they might need to keep out.
FYI, the Westboro slime is virulently anti-gay, but that doesn't place them in a policial category.

He was trying to lump you and I in with the Westboro Baptist dirtbags, not the other way around. That is a old and tired tactic of the left to try and demonize those that disagree with them politically. They must do this because they cannot argue from the perspective of facts, logic and reason. On those fronts they lose and lose big. So ignore facts, never apply reason and logic to them and fire away with the pejoratives instead.....

Of course the left is fixated on only three things, your sexuality (the more perverse the better), the color of your skin (the darker the less they expect out of you) and punishing the successful (the more jobs you create the more you should be taxed). Everything else is immaterial.

They are, first and foremost, extremely self-riteous in their beliefs, and they use their demonstrations to impose their beliefs while hiding behind the Constitution. But a movement needs funding, so they also use their demonstrations to provoke us into reacting emotionally. There is legal counsel within them standing at the ready. Evil, Yes! Stupid, No! I'm by no means pro-union, but I could look the other way this once. What am I saying, I'd like to see some Westboro heads being beat in!!
