Yea we have had this discussion before and I kinda know what the answers will be but here we are with spring in full effect and grass growing....just wondering if anyone on here has graced the greens of Stillwaters lately. Thinking about rounding up some fellas just want to be warned how bad the conditions are. I know there are better courses in Auburn and I know Willow Point is immaculate but wanting to play Stillwaters. Anyone got the scoop??????????

I'm wondering the same thing.  I've read all the negative posts in the past and was hoping it wasn't so.  I went to a meeting there about 3 weeks ago and rode very slowly by the holes I could see.  The grass wasn't growing yet, but the #9 fairway looked well groomed, also the 3 greens I saw had no bare spots.  My brother-in-law is coming the middle of May and I was going to call the week before to make sure the greens have not just been aerated.  If you play it this weekend or next, please post your opinion.

Headed down in a week and a half and hope to play. Hope the greens are in better shape than last time we played.

Stillwaters golf course is looking good. It was rough over the winter but the grass is coming back in and they are keeping the fairways and greens mowed well. It is not perfect yet, but certainly is much better than a few weeks ago.
