Just talked with Reservoir Supervision and the expected rise in water is going to be 3 feet or more above full pool of 465. It will crest either Sunday night or Monday morning please make sure that your property will be protected from rising water. We will keep you informed of any additional changes.

I use to get an email from APCO when levels went above or below my set mark but have not gotten one lately. Do they still send out emails or did I just miss mine somehow???? I looked on their site and could not find how to check on the email notices.

How did you talk to lake supervision?  If I wasn't able to check in here for a forecast I wouldn't know what to do.  My action level is 467 so off to the lake I go to save the sea doo and boat!

I don't know about getting an email alert from APCO but you can get one through this website. Look around on the home page.

Mike, do you have updated information as to what water level is expected to be?

Still 468 or 3 feet above full pool.

Can anyone tell me why we are flooded and Henry Neeley is 3.5 feet below summer level.

Sequestration. Sorry, that's all I got. Nobody flooded but us.

I'm with Flounder.  I understand our purpose for flood control, but I can't understand how Neely Henry can be down 3' from when the rain event began, and down 5' from Summer pool while Logan continues to go higher.

The variance being pursued to raise the winter pool will make the lake more usable and prettier to look at than muddy shorelines, but having a couple foot head start on Spring flooding when the 'powers that be' don't seem to care is a recipe for disaster.

The media isn't concerned with this because it's just this lake. The whole state got the same rainfall and we are the only ones with a problem. Always that way. It's situations like this that I hope and pray the LMLPA will user as ammunition to hold APCO accountable. That's why I joined and I hope everyone here is either already a member or will be. Visit their booth at Lakefest or www.lmlpa.org. 25 bucks well spent. Peace, <>< TC
