I use Boat US, half the cost of State Farm, and free Tow Service.

for my scenario, Progressive was less than Boats US and all other quotes. We had a claim last May and they were very easy to work with.....they didn't raise my rates after the claim.

USAA uses Progressive for their boat insurance provider. I haven't had a claim, but just got an unsolicited email from them announcing a reduction in my rate....probably connected to the fact that I haven't had a claim, but a reduction is a reduction...

Go online and check out Peter Lewis, CEO of Progressive, and you may want to look elsewhere

We are a Progressive, and State Farm customer/center. Both are very prompt.
|
I am also a long time USAA member and my Progressive boat policy is attached to my USAA policy.

They aren't called progressive for nothing. Big Dem donor and very socially liberal guy. I'm not a big fan of avoiding a company because of their CEO but for a lot of folks his activism is a bridge too far.

There comes a time when one just has to hold his or her nose as they choose the option that is best for them. Absent a concerted, coordinated boycott effort, not choosing the best alternative because of the owner's politics is much akin to cutting one's nose off just to spite one's face...
