Geez GF, I have been a fountain of bad economic news and you have been silent. Whassup wit dat? And Archie, I notice you did not jump in to tell us that the April numbers were revised downward. Whassup with dat?
U.S. private employers added 135,000 jobs in May, falling short of economists' expectations, a report by a payrolls processor showed on Wednesday.
Economists surveyed by Reuters had forecast the ADP National Employment Report would show a gain of 165,000 jobs. April's private payrolls were revised down to an increase of 113,000 from the previously reported 119,000.
The report is jointly developed with Moody's Analytics.

WSJ/NBC poll results - 55% doubt honesty of Obama administration. Of course that begs the question as to the stupidity of the remaining 45%. You may like what they have done but to think they are honest is beyond belief........well, I will only take exception with the 25% that are not self described liberals........the libtards have no morals or principles and cannot be held to any standard of judgment on honesty.

Relatively speaking, yes.......literally speaking its mostly no although some can be trusted as much as you can trust any politician, which isn't much. But I would surely take imperfect Republicans over corrupt, inept and destructive Dems any day.

I just wanted to make sure that you did not trust any politicians - if you said "yes, absolutely" - I would have suggested a sign to hang around your neck.. I do not trust any, but can understand "more trustworthy".

No problem. I'm no rube when it comes to politicians but I am not such a cynic as to think they are all corrupt beyond redemption or that they will never do the right thing. Some can and do. What we see today is nothing new when it comes to politics, politicians and political power. It is as old as civilization itself and if you read some of the great philosophers like Socrates and Aristotle you would see their relevance for today and think they were writing about todays political class.
Sadly like many things in life we are forced to accept the lesser of two evils and that is why I vote for Republicans. I am an American first, fiscal and social conservative second and being a Republican is a distant third. But I could never be a Democrat and have yet to find one I could vote for (Zell Miller being the closest that I can recall). They stand for things that simply make no sense to me.

These are not BLS numbers. They come from Moody's. Problem with BLS numbers, and why they are always wrong (high or low) is they only collect data mid month and then extrapolate the rest of the month. Sometimes they are and sometimes low.
But you are right about one thing, you can't trust much that comes out of DC.
