Friday I turned in my notice that I would be retiring at the end of this year. I'll be a laker fulltime come Jan1, 2014. GOD has blessed me with great health and we've put a few $$$$ back so I pulled the trigger Friday afternoon. It felt sooooo good getting that off my chest. The company I work for would have let me work as long as I wanted and I felt that I have reached that point. Now, I have to find me a part-time job here at the lake. I'm not one to just sit around and watch TV. I've got to be around people and selling things. I can't wait to get to beautiful Lake Martin fulltime!!!!

My dream retirement job would be pumping gas into boats full of nice Alabama ladies at the marina. But when the owner (a few years ago) and I were enjoying the view out of his big plate glass window I asked him how much he paid an hour. He told me that I had to PAY HIM minimum wage to work there. haha

You may want to ask him again. Maybe he has come down on the cost.
