These are pros. They moved through my subdivision with lighting speed and took only things that were marketable and only in low risk situations.

I have seen this before. We now have big city problems that require a different approach. Change has come to the "country".

If not dealt with quickly it may overwhelm the local law enforcement. It's probably drug related. Taking this into your own hands with guns is not the answer. Supporting and communicating with your local police is.

guns may not be the answer for you, but if they are caught on my property, they will be dealt with accordingly. i would rather be well armed, well trained and well informed than a passive victim

I spoke to a local contractor this afternoon and he said the police have apprehended two local youths that were responsible for the breakins and thefts.

So glad they were caught. One of the things I have always loved about the lake is the feeling of going back in time. Back to the days when we were kids and you didn't lock your house and left the keys in the car.
