The US spent so much time getting permission to effect regime change in Iraq (from Congress, the UN, Colin Powell’s second cousin, ad nauseam)… that it took the Israelis four years to find out where the nuclear materials went… and the rest of the world ten years to find out where the chemical WMD went (…though most of the world’s intelligence agencies knew exactly where, when, and how).  

If there is ANY confusion about the mission statement, the order ABSOLUTELY SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN (you military folks know about SMEAC). The White House doesn’t have a clue... and anyway, the Pretender will have to first get Valerie Jarrett’s permission.

Then there will be that period of “nation building” under the guns of the Islamic rebels and their partners al Qaeda.

The Brits have detected the trap. They’re not going for the bait. 

Meanwhile, our Pretender, his under-talented Secretary of State, and their buddies, the talking heads, are searching for just the right mission statement… um, ad slogan… to justify a token amount of shock and awe. 

a) we’ll do it. 
b) it will confirm to the rest of the world that our pretender is an idiot.
c) such action will embolden our enemies, and confound our allies.
