Have you ever noticed how different size engines on different size boats and PWC make different size waves? I think this should be standardized so all boats regardless of size and engine horsepower produce the same size wave.One way to enforce this is have the fine officers with the Alabama Marine Police follow boats and measure their waves. If they are outside the legal? limit they should have their boats dyed so the Marine Police will know to look out for them in the future.
Who wants to jump on this bandwagon? It should help the local marinas sell more of something? Maybe dye?
(For the one who has problems understanding forum posts this is TONGUE IN CHEEK)

I think anyone caught peeing in the lake should have their boat painted with a yellow stripe so you will know to stay away from them. That is worse than releasing alittle grey water into the lake.

I noticed that a boat next to me was making a wake a lot bigger than mine. It was very disturbing to all the passengers I had on board. All I could think of was "EQUAL WAKES"... man if only this pipe dream could really happen. VERY DISTURBING... I don't think it will Jest... so let's just hope future legislators will come around to our way of thinking.

Just what we need, one more LAW!! You should first know wake propulsion puts oxygen in the water. The larger wake, the more oxygen it injects. Just one question. How are you going to ''DYE'' the wind, or get the Marine Police to "FINE" God that creates a storm with 3-5' wakes? A storm creates much more than your boat or anyone else's will ever create. If you don't like wake's, go to the "NO WAKE ZONES" or stay off the lake until No one is in your space! I read these post and LMAO how "people" yes human beings want to rule Lake Martin and take all the pleasure and joy out of others who enjoy it with their families minding their own business. There's an ole rule everyone should follow: DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU".

I'm not sure but you may have missed the point that we are joking? We agree that it would be crazy. But Gone Fishing' idea of a yellow stripe on "pee boats" is the best one yet. I think he should be placed in charge of that project. Instead of a blue police light we can chip in and get him a yellow one he can turn on when he spots offender's.
