I need to have an exterminator treat the area under the new addition being built at our cabin against termites. We are in the Parker Creek area. Anyone have a recommendation?

S&S Pest in Opelika/Dadeville.  256-825-8231. But, I don't know how they will price it or guarantee it for a partial foundation??

Wooden joists placed on concrete piers. Not looking so much for a guarantee as a good inital treatment.

We use Security Pest out of Alex City on quarterly basis for roaches, spiders, etc.  About two years ago I had them do a treatment underneath the house---put down thick white plastic, then treated wood.  I forget the price, but I wanted to have some feeling of protection

Thanks, I may give them a call. Parts of the addition are close to ground level so I believe I will excavate a trench and install drainage tile around the part where the ground is closest to the wood. Termites like moisture and the drier the ground underneath, the better.

I'm in that business here in the Atlanta area and I use S & S for my lake house. I highly recommend them for termite work and general pest control. They're out of Opelika but I know they service all of the lake region. Give John Story, Owner, a call at 334-745-0666 or toll free at 866-289-7861.
