So now, long after the 2012 election, 60 Minutes gets around to telling us something that has been obvious to those with about an ounce or more of intellect. The White House knew from the beginning that Benghazi was a terrorist attack and TOTUS and Billary lied repeatedly to the American people, caused riots where people died and left those people in Benghazi to die. Oh, by the way, that last part, while objectively true, was not actually part of the piece......Surprise, surprise........
This is but one of many reasons I don't watch that hack Democrat sycophant show.....what bunch of dirt bags. If the President had been a Republican this story would have run in October 2012 to great fanfare. And if the SOS cum POTUS candidate had been from the GOP this story would have run in October 2016. But nope, we ignored until it didn't matter and we will run it now so everyone will forget by 2016....well, everyone except the wives, children and parents of those people that Obama and Hillary let die just to save their political backsides.....must feel good to support people like that.
Nice try 60 Minutes.......but your bias is really showing once again and this pathetic attempt to try to recover a shred of credibility is not working......

I read several articles on the show and watched a portion on the web. Don't watch the show......won't watch the show. Don't need to get old news from 60 Minutes acting as if they are breaking new ground........we knew about the lies.....we knew about the abandonment of Americans to be strangled and sodomized so Billary and SOTUS could pretend that their foreign policy was anything but a total disaster.
As Dick Cheney said so well, Our friends no longer trust us and our enemies no longer fear us. I am trying to imagine a worse place to be from a foreign affairs standpoint but it escapes me. And this from the current Democrat President and the presumptive nominee. I would ask if that was the best you can do but we already know the answer is yes.

GF, first of all there is a profound difference between asking our military (who are all volunteers by the way) to engage in a conflict and leaving your ambassador to be strangled and sodomized by a bunch of Islamofascists when you know you can help them but either refuse to do so like Hillary or go to bed so you are fresh and rested for a Las Vegas fundraiser like Obama.
And do we really need to revisit the issue of WMD? Do we really need to show you all the statements by Dems, including your presumptive nominee Hillary, about how they independently verified the intelligence and concluded Saddam had WMD (not to mention all the countries that agreed)? Do we really need to revisit the vote in the House and Senate which approved military action in Iraq? I could go on but I doubt your brain can comprehend anything beyond your Bush Derangement Syndrome.....you really need help for that.
But as we all saw, not only did they abandon these Americans to unnecessarily die, Hillary and Obama repeatedly lied to the American people about some stupid video trailer which caused riots in the Middle East with even more deaths......all for political gain. Unlike Iraq, which came at great political cost for those involved in the decision, the scandalous and immoral actions of Hillary and Obama during and after this sordid affair was solely to benefit them politically. There is no equivalence, period.

It really does make you wonder if he really believes this stuff or is just a troll stirring things up and having some form of demented fun........in a way I almost hope its the latter and not the former. I just can't imagine anyone being so ill informed and believing so much that just isn't true. Others from the leftist persuasion that drive by post here are hopeless......

Weapons of Mass Destruction
1) The President (Clinton) and the Senate and the House ALL agreed Sadam had WMDs. Then along came W and the DEM controlled Senate and House changed their minds.
2) WMDs were not found in Iraq after the victory.
3) During the protracted build up (i.e. time wasted begging for UN approval) intelligence platforms detected convoys of trucks (some Russian made) moving from the suspected sites to the Syrian border.
4) The nuclear inventory was later discovered to be located in Syria… and “mysteriously” disappeared in the night from an air attack by… well, you know who did that. BUT, what about the chemical weapons.
5) I believe we now know where that ended up… what a coincidence.

That Saddam used chemical weapons on the Kurds is without question. That he only had enough for these attacks or destroyed the rest and stopped program defies credulity. That a left wing nut would give up a phony talking point when faced with facts, logic and reason is like wishing frogs had wings so they would not bump their butts when they move. Liberalism is invincible ignorance incarnate........
