More bad news for SLOTUS and Dems in Congress with two recent polls showing a dramatic shift in support to the GOP. This will only accelerate as we see 1800OTUS bumbling and stumbling around like some two bit drunken dictator that simply does not understand how America works. His so-called fix is an abject disaster that even left wing states like Washington have already rejected. I swear he is mentally ill.....he actually thinks by just saying something that he wants it must happen. He has the potential to become dangerously psychotic and I am waiting for him to declare martial law and start locking up insurance company execs and state insurance commissioners. He is making Richard Nixon look like a saint and Jimmy Carter look almost competent.......almost....... Having fun yet left wing nuts? We told you this would happen.....it was all so predictable. And for pure entertainment I refer you to Megyn Kelly's decimation of Ezekial Emmanuel on her show....this incompetent boob actually blames FoxNews for the failure of Obamacare and the website......I kid you not. Of course he also blames insurance companies for obeying the law........

When Oblaimer was first running he said that we needed an "internal security force" equal in power to the army. This scared me because it was a perfect description of the KGB! Now Homeland Security is the third largest department with enough ammo to shoot every American five times! Could this be 1917 all over again? Any incident, real or contrived, could be an excuse to declare martial law and suspend the constitution.

Troubling to me is police departments being provided with Mine Resistant Armor Protected (MRAP) vehicles. Why? What threat are they supposed to counter? Seems to me to go well beyond what might in one's wildest imagination might be needed to quell a riot. Very effective, though, against citizens armed with AR-15s. I used to think that our police and military would never turn on US citizens but the revelations about NSA spying on citizens have shaken that belief. The military I served would never have done such a thing. But I retired 24years ago. I am wondering now if things have really changed that dramatically.

You are wondering if things have changed that much. I'm not sure about your definition of "things." If you are speaking of our elected leaders, yes they have. It seems as if "citizens" are there to do the bidding of the leaders, if you can call them that, not the leaders doing the will of the citizens. The Chicago crowd are the worst of the lot. Look how many Illinois governers have been jailed and they were all Chicago heroes. I'm of the opinion at least 2 more need to go to jail. One is a mayor and the other is the PinC.

My concern is whether the police and/or military will comply with orders to fire on US citizens who are engaging in the exercise of their constitutional rights, or will we turn into another Syria. My hope is that there are enough free-thinking military and police who would throw the bullchit flag and keep the latter from happening. 24 years ago I am certain they would. Now I don't know.
