A federal judge ordered that Republican Senator Lama Alexanders chief of staff Ryan Loskarn be realeased as he awaits a grand jury hearing over allegations that he possesses and distributed child pornography. As they always say on the Right... he is innocent until proven guilty.

I think both of these guys should never take a breath of free air (outside jail) as long as they live. However, why don't the scoundrels from the liberal side of the house get equal penalties? For instance our gun runner that is presently AG? Better yet, how about his partner in crime?

That way he would be protected from harming his career. Heck, spend a little time in jail and then come out and run for office. He would get elected in a heartbeat. Such is the state of the modern Democrat party where a tax cheat is SecDef, a congenital, serial liar is POTUS, a certifiable dunce is VPOTUS, a tax cheat gets reelected to Congress, a run a male prostitute ring out of your townhome and get reelected to Congress, lie about the murder of Americans in Libya and be the presumptive nominee for president, etc., etc., etc.
I know GF, you can never accuse Dems of being hypocrites, right? As if being a hypocrite is worse than being a fraud, a tax cheat, a liar, a criminal or a pervert.....

Goofy everyone has a right to "reasonable bail". Usually only those who are considered a high risk of flight to avoid prosecution are denied bail. Other times bail is set very high in an attempt to keep someone looked up. But after. Initial publicity dies down lawyers file motions for bail reduction, and usually get it. Glass houses my friend.

To associate Lamar Alexander with the right is laughable. Hopefully he'll be "primaried" in Tennessee next year. The Tennessee GOP should kick him out, but the establishment is just as corrupt as Alexander (Alexander used to be Tennessee Governor). He has been nicknamed "Liberal Lamar"... GoneFishin, You'd like him. I doubt this arrest of his aide will hurt him politically. He fired his aide shortly after this news and he has millions to spend on TV advertising.
I attended the Knox County Republican convention in January and Alexander was their keynote speaker... Only 25% of the room stood and applauded. The other 75% remained seated and remained silent (which somewhat appeared to be in protest). There is growing opposition to Alexander because he sides with the Democrat vote 62% of the time, but he talks a fake conservative game. Joe Carr, a state rep, is going to run against Alexander next year and all the TEA Party groups are backing Carr. It will be an uphill battle for them because Alexander is well funded by banking interests... As we all know, the majority of voters listen to what a politician says and seldom look at what they actually vote for.
A few weeks ago, Alexander had a fundraiser at the Knoxville Airport wanting $500 to shake his hand and have a picture taken with him and John McCain. Funny that the fundraiser was scheduled at 7:00 AM in the morning. Here lately, I have noticed that I am pretty much against anyone that McCain supports and support anyone that McCain is against. LOL

He was confined to his parents' house with no access to the internet and is being electronically monitored to keep him there. Better to have his parents pay his upkeep while awaiting trial. And yes, Lamar is not a conservative and Joe Carr will give him a good run for his money!
