Have been weekending at our lake house for over 10 years and for the first time we had what I hope is an aberration.  Some guy across and down the slough played incredibly loud music all day Saturday and into the early evening.  I was sitting on my deck and could not hear my own music so I can't imagine what their next door neighbors experienced.  Finally at about 8pm when it was between songs I yelled over and asked him to turn the music down which he thankfully did.  Can someone be that oblivious?  Maybe hard of hearing?

Lots of southern rock, rock and country which is fine, but I don't need to listen to it from afar.  I can't believe you could even carry on a conversation at that house the music was so loud.  I am hopeful this was a visitor and he won't be back.  Wow!

What part of Sandy Creek was it?  Our daughter and some friends were using our house - (28 YOA) hope it was not them!!!  We would be mortified. But I don't think they were at the house Saturday until around 7pm because they were out on a pontoon boat all day.

Not them but thanks for checking.  It was actually an older guy (late 50's, early 60s) who was all by himself.  The house is across from Sandy Creek Estates on Cloxson Pt Road.  Good news it was only one day and he turned it down when I asked.  Still amazes me that anyone could play music that loud.

My neighbors will have to get used to it.  Because I have heard that is a way to keep the raccoons out of the sweet corn.  Seems the Pelicans are not working

While we are bashing those less considerate of our eardrums...and in the same general area (Sandy Creek Estates) possibly Tahoe Court...somebody brings DYNAMITE ...I swear it must be DYNAMITE ...to set off on weekends especially holidays.  It is very disturbing to animals, small children, and anyone else who does not enjoy getting blasted out of their seat unexpectedly...who would do that??

So, maybe the people from that TV show?  Seemed 'rednecky' to me.
