Anyone know the lady?  Will she be OK?  Lifeflight out of the Ridge to UAB does not sound good.  Fun place to be but man it really is dangerous.

That's awful. But I have to say after watching this ritual and observing the routine injuries over the years the jumpers surely know the risk they are taking. I say let them jump.

Why do people like to anchor, drink beer, and watch the jumpers?  I wonder if it is the thrill of watching someone get hurt like some who attend NASCAR waiting for the "big" crash?

Most of the boats are there because someone on the boat wants to jump from the rock or to join up with other boaters having a good time.  I seriously doubt anyone is there to see an accident just like people that watch NASCAR are there for the race and not out of a desire to see a wreck.  If you want to see a wreck the best place is on the roads around Atlanta.
