One of your favorite spokesman agrees with me and my kind. At last the guy admits his mistake unlike the crowd on the Forum.

"There are many things you'd never expect Glenn Beck to say: "Barack Obama is a great president," "the Affordable Care Act was a huge success," "amnesty for all undocumented immigrants!"

But "liberals, you were right" tops them all. And yet:

"From the beginning, most people on the left were against going into Iraq. I wasn’t.... Liberals, you were right. We shouldn’t have.""

I am NOT a liberal but I didn't think we should have invaded Iraq.  That decision has nothing to do with conservatism vs liberalism and my views on the sagacity....or lack thereof...of invading Iraq does not make me a liberal.  At least we had a leader with the courage of his convictions and I admire him for that in spite of disagreeing with his decision.  What we have now is best described as a (slang term for a cat).  The whole world is walking all over us and all he does is play golf and go to fundraisers.  If his was a real job in corporate America he would have long since been fired and sent packing.  Your defense of the indefensible by trying to deflect attention from his pathetic performance is at the same time laughable and sad.  By the way, when are you going to quit hiding behind your screen name and reveal yourself to me as I did to you...which you took advantage of.  A bit hypocritical on your part wouldn't you say?

How did I get your name and how did I take advantage of it?

Hey GF, why do you think W had a 25% approval rating low in his second term?  Lots of conservatives, libertarians and independents that voted for him became disenchanted with the iraq war (along with issues like the prescription drug program, no child left behind, amnesty and other big government ideas).  Not to mention the cumulative impact of constant negativity from the govt media.  Point is lots of W voters belatedly came to the belief that the invasion of iraq was a mistake.

That Glen Beck has come to this outlook is not exactly unique.  i suppose that since you are so happy with this you will then change your views so you agree with Beck 100% of the time so you can have total credibility, right?  Didn't think so.  Left wing nuts like yourself will jump all over this kind of statement but will quickly forget it and go rabid on Beck for the other 99% of things that he believes that are anathema to your failed ideology.  Enjoy the moment as it will not last.

Your memory that short?  You know exactly how and what you did.

GF will never come out from under the rock because sunshine is always the best disinfectant.  He also knows my name, the company I own etc. but has not to my knowledge done anything nefarious with that info.  I likewise know his name from others that know him but don't do anything about it because its really not that big a deal.

I find it much easier to carry on meaningful diaolgue and to understand where someone is coming from through person to person confidential email, so some time back I tried to open such a dialogue with GF. Of course I revealed my name when sending the email and GF rushed out to mine the various social and business sites and came back with where I work, what I do, and so forth, all the while and to this day not reciprocating and giving me his name, in spite of my assurances that I would keep it confidential.  Now it is no secret that I am a retired Air Force officer living in Montgomery and working for a defense contractor, but GF's snooping around to find specifics whle keping himself anonymous is, in my book, hypocritical.  I guess that is acceptable liberal behavior.

I don't recall you ever posting that you thought it was a mistake. Rather, you seem to defend it. Do you agree with Beck?

Hypocrisy and liberalism are almost synonymous.  I am sure he has done all the research on me as well and uses an anonymous yahoo email account that isn't even his first name.  Him I don't worry about but some of the left wing nut posters that have come and mostly gone did worry me a bit so I have stayed anonymous except with those I can trust.  Do it all the time.

I didn't say I agreed with Beck, just that lots of non-liberals have for some time, and many from the beginning.  I will say this, and it is based on the benefit of hindsight.  If you had told me that the next president would completely squander the opportunity that was created in Iraq I would have opposed it for sure.  But hindsight is 20/10 and I can't go back on what I believed simply because some man child has grasped total defeat from the jaws of a potential opportunity for some level of success.  Am I glad Saddam is taking an eternal dirt nap?  You betcha!  Does it make me sick to think that NeroOTUS completely squandered this opportunity.  You dang sure betcha.

But I agreed with the threat that they posed.  I know they had WMD.  I believe they were hidden or shipped to Syria while we screwed around with multiple UN resolutions.  And at the time a great many Democrats agreed with me.  That they have "changed" their minds demonstrates that they are cynical and dishonest. I am neither.  That they lied about having independently verified the threat and that's why they voted for the war says way more about their total absence of character.  I will remain consistent.  And I don't care how many Glem Beck's come out of the woodwork.  Never let them influence what I believe and never will.......

Final note to this dumb post is that Glen Beck also says you are wrong about 99% of what you believe so you must be wrong.  After all, he is apparently the arbiter of right and wrong for you.

"Final note to this dumb post is that Glen Beck also says you are wrong about 99%"

It is the 1% that matters. As, you always like to remind us....

It is you and the other left wing nuts that are fixated on the 1%, not me.  In reality it is the ever shrinking middle class that matters the most. Shrinking because of the failed ideology of the man child.

His skin color was never mentioned by me. But no surprise it is by you, especially given your low expectations of his performance. I however focus on the content of his character and on that score he is sorely lacking just like Biden (a white guy), Billary (a white female...maybe), Reid (an old white guy) and Pelosi (an old white female). That is the difference between you and I GF.  You see everyone based on their race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.  I don't care about any of that. I only care what they believe and how they comport themselves because that is what really matters.

Libtards can't win an argument based on logic and reason so they retreat  to name calling and ascribing motives to anything BUT L&R.  They especially have trouble beleving that an old white guy like me, raised in Arkansas, home of Orval Faubus and Little Rock Central High, truly despises the politics of someone like Obama or Hillary without regard for whether they are black, white, gray, male, female or hermaphrodite.
