The kids wanted to ride in the tube and go over big waves.  We had a hard time finding other boats to jump the waves of.  We haven't seen it that quiet in a while.

and it will be a lot more quite in the morning....once you start spening most weekdays at the lake, the whole perspective changes.

I dont get it; I was assured that as long as the lake was full, no matter what time of year it was, that it would always be busy. I wonder if those businesses that are banking on big crowds all of the time if they raise the winter pool might be in for some sad surprises.

I had a group of 7 year old boys for a birthday party!  I tried to create some bouncing waves, but could not get it rough enough for them.  We had fun though.  Lake Martin is such a beautiful place to play.

Sometimes, there are lots of excuses to accomplish a goal that involves money.

A drawback I see is that most of the boats are off the lake and with the water going

down later, seeing good places (sandy, etc) to anchor next year doesn't happen.

Believe me, there are lots of decent places that are not used. But, mostly only the

fishermen are familiar with them.
