Anyone have any equipment reccomendations, experience with a personal weather station on the lake. Would like to be able to monitor the weather when not here.

I use a Davis Weather systems station that I have mounted on my dock. It has worked very well and there are a number of remote monitoring options available.

Which of the Davis models do you have? Do you sync to any of the online services and if you do what software do you use?

I use a Davis Vantage Pro 2 station. It is mounted on my dock using a TV antenna pole and has generally been reliable. I had to replace the solar panel once but Davis was very good about warranty issues. I personally do not have experience with remote operations as I am a Mac person and the software is PC based but I have talked with others who have used it and they are very satisfied.
