I gave my late season green tomatoes and some peppers to Maddog for him to apply his secret picklin' recipe.  I took a jar of pickles to a T-day gathering yesterday, and to another eating today.  All agreed that the Maddog formula was worthy, and the pickles were enjoyed by all.

Thanks, Maddog.  Now my relatives are wanting a recipe!

LNG.....I'll send you an e-mail with the secret recipe. I'm glad you all enjoyed the pickled green maters. I pickled a batch of habanero peppers last week. If you really like HOT, let me know and I will get you a jar. It should last you about two years. I ate a whole pickled habanero on a dare at our family Thanksgiving dinner and it was much hotter than I thought it was going to be. The person that dared me would not eat one after he saw the look on my face. The rest of the family gave him a hard time the rest of the day.
