My subject headline was, of course tongue in cheek. You are absolutely correct Major. Neither Bush nor Obama had anything to do with "cheap gas". That being agreed, I assume we are also like minded that Obama had no involvement or control over "expensive gas" when the prices were at $3.95/gal and rising just a couple of years ago.  If so, will you please join me in "correcting" the hypocrits on this site who allotted Obama ALL the blame during the last run up and cautioning them to think a bit (very difficult for some of them) before doing the same when the upward pressure returns.

It is amazing to me how so many "free market" republicans only give credit to free market economics when a Republican is in the White House!

He has spent the last 6 years telling us Obola had nothing to do with high gas prices but now wants to give him credit for when they drop. Good Lord MM, are you unable to read English or are you the one who is "brain dead". Obama, Bush, Clinton, etc, etc, as I just said in my post responding to Major and as l have said on several past occasions, deserve little or no blame when Gas is going up and little or no credit when it is going down.  The blame and/or credit accrues  mostly to free market capitalism. Gas is down because of production in excess of demand.  Already Texas producers are closing down many wellhead pumps because of low prices.  Other producers worldwide are doing the same. Iran and Russia are actually losing money on every barrel they produce.  Are you bright enough to grasp that MM?  Have no fear, within a few months (probably just in time for the summer drive season) demand will again exceed supply and prices will start back up...then of course you and your sheep will be burning up this forum telling all us "brain dead" types who actually think on occasion rather than getting our talking points from Faux News, that it is all Obama's fault.
