Wondering if anyone could give us advice on what to do? We purchased a point lot in 2002 and it perked (SP)then. We are trying to build now and there seems to be new rules in place and our lot won't perk according to the new guidelines??? Any serious advice would be appreciated!!!

He owns a septic company and knows septic sysems. He installs them and you should talk to him. I am sure you are not the first to face the problem.

I know first hand that you are not the first one to face this issue and I highly recommend  Dale Mask.  He has a lot of credibility.

Don't know which county you are in, but it may also be necessary to hire Speakes firm in Montgomery (engineers) to help prove your point.

It may not be cheap, but Dale is probably your best bet. If it can be done, he will be abe to help.

I promise you that it will not be cheap.

If it did not perk per health dept guidelines, you will install a raised bed system. Could be as much as $8000.00

Good plumbing ain't cheap, and cheap plumbing ain't good.

good septic sytems, IMO, are worth every penny. 2014 seemed to be the year of the septic problems, I seemed to encounter a lot in home sales.

$16K is a good round number.

Hey lakeplumber, that's a great tag line.  You should put it on your truck, letterhead & business cards.  It rivals my previous favorite by Cole Plumbing in Montgomery, "We're #1 in the #2 Business."

A million dollar lakehouse with $1000.00 plumbing is just a lot of fancy brick/stone, lumber, paint, windows, windows, and doors.

Archer septic wins the truck slogan contest with "Shinola....we know the difference".

I agree that Dale Mask is a reputable source for septic tank work. He should be able to give you some good advice and his price is reasonable. Keep us posted on your progress as your findings may be helpful to others as their need arises.

I saw a great slogan on a truck (which applies to me) that read: "We repair what your husband fixed"
