I'm relieved that we have finally arrived at a solution to the Al Qaeda(ISIS) uprising. According to President Obama's address at the "The Whitehouse Terrorism Summit", we are not at war with Islam. Obama has determined that the real cause of the "extreme terrorism" that exists today results from the poverty and social conditions that these terrorists come from. In Obama's mindset, the United States and other countries of the world must find jobs for these terrorists so they will not see the need to become members of these "terrorist organizations". I cannot think of anything more idiotic than to conjure up such justification for the "beheading" and "burning" of innocent men, women, and children alive. We can't even find jobs for thousands of our own citizens, let alone thinking this is the answer to the terrorist problem. Just as Nero, the United States is "fiddileing" while innocent people are being killed daily. In summation, we can't sit around trying to find an "academic" solution to a problem that has evolved into extreme acts of "terrorism" around the world. I am a firm believer in the old saying that "actions speak louder than words". Without a fearless leader, how much longer can the United States "fiddle"?

Ha! Just when it appeared that the "fiddling" may have subsided just a bit, he goes and tells the enemy that we're coming, when we're coming and how many are coming! Which will give ISIS ample time to plant plenty of IED's/roadside bombs, fortify their defenses and "blend" among the civilian population. You know, there was a time when this would have been called treason!

Just when one thinks our leader has done everything possible to aid the enemy, he pulls another stunt like this. This nonsense has to stop. No one with any degree of sanity and concern for our military and our country could continue to "rule" as our President is doing. I agree with the recent observations by ex-Mayor Gugliano when he said that President Obama does not love America. He spoke from the heart , but has received unbelievable ridicule for his statements. I seem to remember a couple of years ago when Michelle commented about some happening where she said that for the first time she was pround to be an American. I don't believe America is too for away from another terrorist attack that will overshadow 9/11 and the Boston Marathon attacks.

"If you can't convert the terriorists, kill 'em"-- Isn't that the exact same mindset that the terrorists have? If we do exactly what they are doing, then either they're evil and so are we, or we're not evil and neither are they.

I don't know the solution to the problem; if I did, I wouldn't be sitting around being retired and living on the lake. But I do know that copying somoene makes you no better than them. I'd like to think that we are better than the terrorists. Apparently, many Americans are not., though thankfully so far all they are doing is talking, not taking action.

I'm not sure I understand your comparison between us and the terrorists. Are you saying that if the terrorists kill us and we defend ourselves by fihting back and killing them, then we also become terrorists?

You sir, are sick and demented to try and place moral relevence to us fighting a war of self defense to heatherns that behead others because we wont bow to thier demands of allegance to allah and sharia law.  I have not heard one case of Christians or Jews killing, much less by decapitation, any muslims because they wish to live life free from Judeao-Christian values. Not since the 11th century anyway.  In fact just the oppisite is happening across the globe.  The muslims have been invited to immagrate with no expectation that they will assimulate into the host country's culture.  They are free to practice their barbaric "religion", even when it conflicts with local tradition and lifestyle.  What do host countries get in return?  in many cases violence and threats of even greater violence along with demands to allow them to practice sharia in their "communities".  

Feel free to head on over there and have a stern talk with them.  Maybe after a little "time out" you can help them find a job so they will stop trying to kill us.

Sam, I don't think you understand.  It is a Christian's responsibility to "spread the word".  If someone doesn't accept, they are not killed.  Not the case with the radical Islamic terriorists - if you don't yield to their belief they kill you.  It is adsurb to say "we" are like "them" because we are defending ourselves.
