Me understand: bad weather made me watch news & talk shows this weekend: if CNN & other reporters can locate & film terrorists camp training & sites --why can't we: my college roomie pilots a Stealth bomber & I'm confident he could lock on to those coordinates & drop a few; I know POTUS just wants to lecture Americans but do t Joint Chiefs have any gonads ??this has got to stop--why can't we jam their internet & twitter communications & name countries who help them as terrorists & cut off their free aid; I don't want my grandchildren growing up in fear of radical terrorists who place no value on life

I agree but I don't have an answer. I see the pictures of their training sites where they are doing situps with telephone poles and doing pushups with tires around their necks, as well as masses of them with their weapons out in the broad daylight. At a minimum, these appear to be "shooting ducks" for drone strikes. Also, I agree about the gonads. Obama has already fired several generals who didn't agree with his approach to how the military should be used during this terrorist madness. He can't fire the entire military. Yes, I fully understand he is the Commander-in-Chief, but how can we stand by and watch one man with his ego and lack of concern for the well-being of the United States continue to rule as he is doing? As to his solution that the world needs to offer jobs to these terrorists so they will not seek to become members of ISIS and the other terrorist barbarians, I suggest that he send the two young ladies that are his spokepersons for the Whitehouse to interview these terrorist and offer them jobs in lieu of filling their terrorist ideology that has existed for thousands of years.

..or cares, that the narcicist had the terrorist Ayres write in his book that should conflict ever break out between us and his muslim brothers that he would side with his muslim brothers!!!  How is that just forgotten?  How long do good people sit back and watch as he destroys this country with insurmounatable debt, open borders and constantly pitting us against each other along race and economic lines.

It may already be too late.  With the massive voter fraud network the dems have established Republicans may never win another presidential election.

What makes you so sure that we are not doing just that?  From what I understand, watching those same shows, we are routinely bombing their positions, as are some of our allies, including Jordan.

One thing I think factors into making decisions on bombings has to do with collateral damage.  Americans have no stomach for collateral damage, especially when it involves possible killing of women and children.  Our enemies know this and routinely set up in areas where there would be colleteral damage.

To my knowledge, the Joint Chiefs and their staffs do not routinely assign bombing missions.  That would normally be assigned to the Theatre Commander in conjunction with his staff based on intelligence assessments and various unit commanders and the CINCCENTCOM and his staff.  Obviously, they are speaking on a weekly, if not daily basis and would be briefing the WH as requested.

I'm waiting to see how effective it is in the longer term, before I conclude it is a failure. Obviously, like most people I would like to see them aniliated off the face of the Earth, and I don't give a dime about the collateral damage; but realistically, I know that is not going to happen.   There are geo-political reasons why the Administration is drawing very careful lines between terrorists and "all Muslims".  I never lose sight of the fact that these are the very people that danced in their streets on 9/11; however we have long term strategic and commercial relatiohships with other Muslim countries that are important to the U.S., that might be broken if we approach the issue like a ham fisted lout.

One thing I'm real sure about - that I'm glad I'm not the one having to make the decisions about strategy for dealing with the problem.
