So the news on the health  of the economy remains a mixed bag.  Some good signs like consumer confidence and some bad signs.  Once again the reduction in the U-2 unemployment rate was due almost entirely due to people giving up looking for a job.  Let's see what happens when they are restated later this month.  Suffice it to say the worst recovery since FDR continues.

We are still in a recession. Things are not getting any better. Consumers are holding back. I believe the majority are trying to pay down  debt. It is still tough times for a lot of people. The darn Affortable Health Care Act has contributed. I know many more who have been adversly affected by this new insurance with huge huge premium increases and mountain high out of pocket expense than people who have benefited. Obama called the insurance we use to know as " crummy insurance" turns out his version is the real CRUMMY insurance. I think we are probably two more years from a real recovery. Just pay attention in your travels to extremely large amount of empty store fronts, closed businesses, and large amount of retail space, office space, and contractor commercial space that is for sale or lease.

Record 56.1M women not working

The left must be so proud of his domestic economic accomplishments. But then again, they have such low expectations for our first black president that they are probably happy with these records. Why is that?  They seem to want to answer the question about their low expectations.
