On NPR's "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me " (I know libtard, socialist, leftist, blah, blah, blah) this morning one of the panelists suggested that since the Confederate Battle Flag is under attack and appears to be coming down if we want to continue honoring the heritage of our ancestors and a lost cause why not run the British Union Jack up the pole for a while.

I think what was said was a sarcastic rhetorical question "Why don't we fly the British flag?"

The funny liberal types sure were harsh on Scalia.

My guru says the British were the cause of the Civil War.  Maybe a divide and conquer attempt.

Ancestors???  Most of the complainers and whiners have no clue who their father is, much less their ancestors!!

and l hope you agree the right side thankfully won.  I have relatives who died in the the Civil War (fighting for the south I might add), I also had relatives die in WW1, WW2 and Viet Nam but life goes on and while we honor their sacrifice we don't dwell on the events of the past.  We have moved on. The Confederacy apologists need to do the same.

On second thought, you are correct. Thanks for the reminder.
