Now leading or tied in most polls of GOP voters.  I wonder how much Hillary Clinton plans to contribute to his campaign?

He's a hoot, and proof at the end day, the rest of the GOP field is concerned about being PC as any democrat, lest they insult any potential donors or voters.  Donald is no different than he has ever been - he is a publicity whore and belongs to the school of thought that any publicity is good publicity.

The American voters were fooled by Obama. I feel the voters will not be fooled by Trump, Hillary, or Jeb. If we do not change our ways, just think of a catastrophe that makes Greece look like a kindergarden situation. The next four years are of such importance that this country must make correct judgments in the run offs and in the 2016 General election.

I hope the love affair with the Donald is temporary insanity. But, if you think Ted, Scott or Mikie are what is needed instead then I would like to talk to you about my beautiful gulfront lot in Nebraska that l am willing to consider selling.

I don't see a single candidate that I think can lead us to solutions for our country.  And I don't blame Obama for where we are.  We got ourselves here over decades of excess and bad management.  The last person who gave the President good advice (that he ignored) was when Colin Powell told GWB that going into Iraq was not a good plan, because "you break it, you bought it".

Yeah and he sure "broke it"...of course the current GOP gang to a man (and woman) expects Obama to "buy it".

We are still over there in one form or another and it is still costing us millions a day.  With the billions we've spent and the lives we lost, you would think we would own it by now.

It was a debacle from the beginning.  We were sold a bill of goods by a president who was not elected by the people based on at best flawed and more likely "doctored" intellegence at a time of national crisis.  I believed it all and voted for W in 2004...worse vote I ever cast.  At least W knows to keep his mouth shut but the real power behind the throne, Dick Cheney is shamelessly continuing the shovel the BS!

GWB was sold a bill of goods by the neocons.  They totally did not understand or anciptate what would happen when we deposed Saddam and disbanded the Iraqi Army.  They thought they would sweep through Iraq with greatful Iraqis, set up a democracy and then move on to Iran and Syria.  Obviously that didn't happen.  It's too bad he didn't listen to Colin Powell instead.

How do you think Bellevue got its name?

As far as W is concerned, he faced the inventor of the Internet (not) and "my wife has money but I keep my yacht in Rhode Island to save taxes". Not much choice there.

Didn't need to be.  He had Colin Powell, if he had only listened.

I feel like you are speaking in tongues.  What is it you are trying to say?

Now Hound, surely you have the intelligence to decode tangential reference to personal traits.  If I can decode LNG's acronym FART, you can figure out who I am talking about.

And Bellevue (Nebraska) overlooks the beautiful gulf of Nebraska (aka, the Missouri River).  Sheesh you

Army types know about all those foreign countries but little about the Heartland...lol??

Know nothing of Nebraska, except that it is somewhere in the MidWest.  My travels have been woefully inadequate when it comes to the MidWest.

Speaking for myself I don't claim to have all the answers either then or now and in fact I initially fell for the sordid story lock stock and barrel.  America and the world would be better off if more people had been around in the White House to ask a few questions which were never asked by the Cheney / Rumsfeld / Wolfwitz + Rice Triumverate + one that told us they had ALL the answers!  Cheney "We have evidence of Al Quieda reps meeting with Iraqi officials" (either untrue or "bad" intellegence), Wolfwitz "Iraqi oil revenue will more than pay for the war." ( they haven't paid for the war and they sure as hell haven't paid for the 4600 Americans killed or the 300,000 Americans wounded), Rice "We don't want the confirmation of WMD to come in the shape of a mushroom cloud." (Good grief!!!), Rumsfeld "We will be greeted a liberators." (Even today any time an American official goes to Iraq it is always on an "unannounced visit")

Hell, even Trump couldn't be as crazy and power mad and incompetant as that bunch!!

And don't leave out Doug Feith, the Undersecretary of Defense for Policy.  He started his own intelligence group because he wasn't getting what he wanted from CIA, Defense Intelligence Agency, and others in the Intelligence community.  And we can hardly forget George Tenet's infamous "It's a slam dunk".

There is an old joke of a radio station running a contest with a first prize of a month's free dry cleaning, a 2d prize of a 1 week vacation in Omaha and 3d prize of 2 weeks in Omaha.

Six winters, three in Bellevue, three in Papillion.  Don't remember the summers, just the winters.  Been there, done that, don't care to repeat.

Speaking of Nebraska winters brought to mind the Mark Twain quote that the worst winter he could remember was the summer he spent in San Francisco!
