Trump stayed up all night sendiing tweets about the treatment he received from Megyn. He doesn't realize his past is fair game nowthat he in running. He went after Obama 4 years ago with the birther lies. Now, Megyn goes after him with his remarks on woman and he says it is unfair. Unless he is in control, he is a basket case and comes ungluded. Maybe, Trump will pay Hillary to drop out .

Trump enjoys publicity - all kinds of publicity.  He enjoys making outrageous statements and then watching what happens.  Then he goes on the defensive and then he gets aggressive again.  He's always been like this, even before he was nationally known.  Back in the 70's and 80's when I was still living in NJ, he was always fighting and suing someone.

I lived in South Jersey and Hunterdon County in NW Jersey. It is so different in NW near the Deleware Water Gap. With mountain, the river, woods with deer......like another state compared to North Jersey around Hoboken and Jersey City.

Talullahound, I have been unable to get a response from you under the subject "Debate" as to why you said Dr. Carson is an idiot, so thought I would try again here. You are usually quick to back up your convictions, but for some reason you won't share with us how you came to the conclusion that Dr. Carson is an idiot. I still see him as a true American patriot, a person who loves his country, a brilliant surgeon, a person who understands what is wrong with our country, a person who is capable of analyzing the problems our complex world, and a person who is not afraid to seek out the views of others on topics that he knows that one person cannot be all knowing. I like to give "credit" where "credit" is due. I can't call a man an idiot who has achieved to his level of success, especially since he was raised by a "single" mom who could not read but would not let her son fail because of her financial and educational level. If we can find more "idiots" like this what a wonderful world this would be.

so much what I think?  I have heard him quoted as saying if President, he will take direction from God; also that he doesn't think the Supreme Court should be able to  reverse or interpret the Constitutionality of laws that Congress passes.  There have a been a couple more that I remember hearing.  I'm not taking anything away from his personal accomplishments in life, but I don't think that I want a President who is taking orders from God or does not understand why we have 3 branches of government.

he is a medical doctor who has said he does not believe in evolution.  Do you believe in evolution Butboy? I think he is a liar... I have a lot of difficulty and maybe a bit of fear believing anybody in the 21st century who has studied biology at a medical school level who says he does not believe in evolution.  I think it is more likely he is trying to get votes than being candid about his beliefs.  He also comes across as arrogant but that of course is par for the course these days in anybody running for president...the days of Lincolns and Trumans are gone forever.

PS:  It may surprise you, but l don't hold you in the highest regard either my friend, but l don't think you are quite as low as pond scum and certainly not as low as pond scum low life excrement!!  Furthermore, l think l am correct in saying that l am the only person on this forum that has ever been called a "babykiller" by another poster...how you like em apples? I have been out of town and just now logged on and am trying to decipher all the inputs my post about Talullahound calling Dr. Carson an idiot generated. GoneFishin accused me of panicking and told me to repost what I deleted in response to her answer. Thanks to MrHodja for coming to my defense. He noted my deleted post came about nine hours before she posted her answer. GoneFishin, it so happens that my deleted post was a little more than a minute after my original post. The deleted post was actually a duplicate of my original post which printed "twice". And "no" Talullahound, I am not the one that marked your response "inappropriate". And for you "Architech", you were quick to jump "Lifer" when he called you out for "juvenile" name calling when you referred to me as "Butboy" and "Buttboy". What did I say to you or about you that deserved your "ire"?

Most of my neighbors are on the Right and it is like living the Forum in real time. We disagree on poitics but enjoy our times together. May be you and I can someday sit down for a cup of coffee.

I guess I don't see the need that we have several different identities to be contributors to the forum. At times it becomes confusing as to who is actually posting. Why can't we just respect  the identity each poster has selected and concentrate on being more positive in our posts? I think there are times when each of us have tried to create a little extra "tension" and that often detracts from the main purpose of the forum. I don't think it is necessary to call attention to a misspelled word or point out when a poster has inadvertently included an extra  "letter" in the spelling of a word. As an example, I will now violate what I have just proposed. In a recent post the word "juvenile" was misspelled "juvenille". Architect, please understand that I am trying to be constructive by using your input as an example, because your input led to some unnecessary name calling. It comes down to the question, are we mainly interested in creating "friction" or  should we be more interested in creating a "positive" forum?

You are so right. However, the forum consists of multiple personalties and conformity will never exist. Some find this as an outlet to express themselves in a way they would never if face to face. Introverts befome extroverts with the stroke of a keypad. Some enjoy the "gotcha" mentality but that is the nature of open dialogue. To coexist, we must realize it is a give and take. Some need to try and "nail ya" to feel important. We are all guilty...it is just the degree. Can you imagine a Forum of just the Right or Left telling each other each day with posts of how great their side is?  Always agreeing and never disagreeing.....That has to be the most boring group of individuls. Long live the 1st Amendment and the Forum.
