I was watching TV at the time.

When the first building began to fall I screamed BS before it had gone 1/3 of the way down.

Turns out I was right.  Everything we were told was BS.

Building 7 is the smoking gun.  Yes,    three buildings fell.

Yes, I remember Building #7, 3 or 4 blocks away, going down at the same time. The first reports confirmed it went down by imploding and explosive residue was found. This was then covered up and never mentioned again. I'm glad a few of you remember how our country hides the facts from us. Yes, three buildings went down, not two.

Building #7 was the residence of the New York Federal Reserve and they were holding other countries gold deposites in the basement. This building also had a tunnel underground to the JP Morgan bank. No one ever reported the results.

Fayette County Georgia hospital room awaiting test results on my wife who had undergone a procedure that am.  Nurse came in the room telling us what was going on. Turned on the TV and watched the rest. At the time unclear what was going on but later realized we were under attack. Thinking about having two young boys 9 and 6 at the time  and what their world  would be like moving forward. 
That day is crystal clear in my memory.

John, I just watched two programs on 9/11 on TV. See my post under Lake Martin Topics. They reveal the unbelievable planning that took place and show how the 17 or so men came to the United States, blended in with the general public, and used our facilities to learn to fly. They simply outsmarted our intelligence. I can identify with your thoughts of your two young sons at the time of 9/11. I have two older sons and five grandchildren and I can only pray that the next election will give us leaders that "love" America instead of "apologizing" for us. Our government is supposed to be of the people, for the people, and by the people. With that being said, over 70% of the people do not approve of the Iran "nuclear" deal, yet 35 or so democratic senators can override Congress and the will of the people. Anyone that doesn't understand that approving a "nuclear" deal for a country that says Israel will not exist 25 years from now, and that burns our flag and chants "Death to America" is stupid. Iran already has all the weaponry it needs to defend itself in the "Mid-East". Common sense says that the only reason for Iran to want an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile is to deliver a Nuclear warhead on the United States. The United States gets nothing for approving the deal while allowing them to do their own inspections and freeing up$150 billion dollars to buy more weapons from Russia and continue their support of the Taliban throughtout the Middle East.

I assure you the plane going into the Pentagon was very real.  A colleague of mine lost his brother in that attack.  It was very real for his wife, children and his family.  It was very real for me, who smelled the jet fuel for months afterward, and for my Pentagon colleagues who saw the body bags in the courtyard.  Another colleague over in Crystal City had papers from the Pentagon blowing around in the streets.

I'm sorry, but I find your conspiracy theory offensive.  As much as I dislike Bush/Cheney, I don't think even they would have ever done this.  Don't you remember the look on Bush's face when he was told?  I think your conspiracy therory is disrespectful to those that died that day and their families.  Maybe if you had been where I and a lot of other people were that day, you would realize that in fact, it was very real.

To answer your question. Originally the news did report Buildings #1, #2 and #7 went down. #7 being 3 or 4 blocks away from the other two. Then nothing was ever reported again on #7.

Since one post above mine mentioned Building #7, I followed through with my comments. Yes, I worked in NYC.

1) If fire caused Building 7 to collapse, it would be the first ever fire-induced collapse of a steel-frame high-rise.

2) Building 7’s collapse was not mentioned in the 9/11 Commission Report.

I agree with Hound.  The conspiracy BS is an insult to the memory of those who died.

Fact:...Building 7 was not 3 or 4 blocks away but was a part of the WTC and directly across the street from the Twin Towers with only an 8 story building separating the 47 story Building 7 from the 100+ story towers. 

Fact:...Building 7 was not destroyed by explosions but by a raging inferno of fire,... Steel does not burn but it does buckle under long term intense heat.

Fact:...Building 7 was not the first steel frame building to collapse due to fire. It was the first that day!

Fact:...We are not teenagers who do not remember the event and the coverage.  Of course the two much larger buildings that were the tallest in NYC and which were actually hit by the plane received the most attention, but the collapse of building 7 was extensively covered as part of the overall coverage.  It was not "forgotten" or "ignored". 

Fact:...Thes theories are delusional nonsense!!

I always knew that Building 7 collapsed.  But I was far more concerned about the loss of life that day than loss of another building. 

FF, as you were a FF in NYC, were you part of the rescue efforts?  Where were you that day?  In my view, you don't have any credibilty unless you were there.  When those towers collapsed, who is to say what happened.  They were still finding body parts a few years after the whole thing.

Please explain how this shows building 7  to be 3 or 4 blocks away from the Towers and do you realize that the building 6 between  building 7 and the towers (bldgs 1 and 2) is only 8 stories high? And for your information a true fact...the Federal Reserve Bank of New York is not and never was located in WTC-7.  Since the 1920's it has been at 33 Liberty Street which is 4 blocks away and undamaged on 9/11.  Now, if there was a tunnel between WTC-7 and J P Morgan it would have been one of the world's engineering marvels running between the WTC and J P Morgan at 270 Park Ave 60 or so blocks north!

Now don't get me wrong...I wouldn't want your theory to get all muddied up by facts or the truth.

I will try to answer your questions / comments.

I did work there. I was not there during the event but my son was and luckily he escaped on a boat on the Hudson river.

I remember the interviews and remember the "experts" (?) comments. Neither YOU nor I will ever have all the facts. We are lucky the planes hit in the morning when the buildings were mostly empty. In another two hours around 50,000 may have been in the complex.

You even argue about distances - does that make you happy? The damage was over around six blocks. I guess it depends how you measure blocks. 

I never said the Fed had offices in the building. Building #7 had bomb prof bunkers in areas of the building and reporters said the Fed had a vault in the basement. As far as JPM - they had offices near the World Trade Center area.

As far as tunnels, there are more than I can count in NYC. Some buildings go down 7 levels below the street level. I have only been down 4 levels.

I hope I have answered your concerns and you will be more understanding. I think we are on the same side but may see things differently.

I have two eyewitnesses who saw the plane hit the Pentagon.  One is my colleague who was at the shuttle bus stop in South Parking and waitnesses the plane slam into the building.  Another is an employee of the Ballistic Missile Agency, who was standing looking out her window across 395 from the Pentagon and saw the plane hit the building.  The plane went into the building on a slightly downward slope and hit the 1st and second floors, though to the D ring.  It immediately exploded.

Unless this General was standing there looking at the building when the plane hit, his opinion is worth less than nothing.  And I don't know what kind of website this is, but based on their advertisng, it looks pretty suspect.

Hound, I have gone to several of shorty's links and frankly find them devoid of provable fact.  Conveniently, those who could validate their claims are not available to testify, they died, etc.  The conspiracy theorists are always going to doubt, to claim some despicable conspiracy.  You and I have enough experience to know that the government bureocracy (sp.?) isn't capable of doing what shorty and his like claim, and even if they did it would be eventually revealed.  I empathize with your pain, as four of my former company's employees perished in the Pentagon hit.  Although I didn't know them personally, the suggestion that they died as a result of some vast government conspiracy is despicable.

None of us will change shorty's mind so just ignore his posts and let him stew in his own juices.
