According to HuffPo..."Fewer Dems are voting this year in states with strict new voter laws" enacted since 2010. "Eight out of the 16 states  that have held primaries or caucuses so far have implemented new voter ID or other restrictive voting laws since 2010, Dem turnout has dropped 37 % overall in those 8 states, and just 13 % in the states that didn't enact new voter restrictions. To put it another was, Dem voter turnout was 285 % worse in states with new voter ID laws".

"Despite the 'burden' of obtaining voter ID, GOP turnout was up".

So, one could draw the conclusion.....the Dems are screwed either way........anti-fraud measures are hurting their vote count and the Dems don't like their candidates so much.....

You can be sure those very same Dems have ready access to their ID to buy alcohol, cigarettes and get their EBT card.  What a bunch of hogwash blaming their lack of enthusiasm for a lily white geriatric that should be in prison and a lily white geriatric that should be in a retirement home in Moscow on having to prove who they are when they vote.  Heck, it should give them more time to sleep in as they will only be voting once in this year's election unlike prior years when they voted three or four times.  

But you are right, either way it looks bad as their turnout is also down substantially in states that have not changed their laws.
