Where are all the liberal idiots??  Arch, copper, goof.....they can't be found.  Not only did their Republican predictions go down the toilet, but the socialist misfit is kicking Hilda's butt at every turn.  I really can't wait to hear Trump's tirades on the Hildabeast and all the krap he'll dig up on her and Willie.  Come on guys, crawl out from under your beds and face a new day.

BTW, if I had to vote now, I'd vote "none of the above", but it's gonna be interesting the next few months.

Kasich has now dropped out.  That gives the Trumped Mouth a clear shot at the Beast.

Back from a camping trip & a bit surprised by Cruz/Kasich decisions to drop out.   Looks like I was wrong about the convention going into multiple ballots after all.   However, Trump’s lock-up of the nomination still keeps my opinions about a 3rd party candidate coming out of the Republican ranks in play.

After their last big loss, the GOP establishment confirmed a belief that they needed to become more inclusive, less divisive to be viable in future elections… in a written autopsy of Mitt Romney’s defeat.   I don’t think doubling down on a more divisive candidate will pay dividends at all, neither do they.   Far from it, this makes for a split that is deep & wide.

Principled Republicans have great difficulty denying their dislike of Trump.   They have reason to be afraid of getting behind a candidate who is so edgy, unschooled in both foreign relations and domestic policy, and particularly one who is so very changeable/thin skinned & unpredictable.

If you were a conservative who opposed Trump & feared what he would mean for your party, you are going to have a huge problem getting over all those concerns now.

What is so very interesting is how half-hearted the new voices of support for Trump are.   And it will be very telling to see how many conservatives compromise their values to support him when they have made a big point of telling us for years that they were in no mood to compromise in any fashion, on any issue in the political arena.

Now they don’t have to compromise with Democrats, they have to compromise their own character to embrace a guy who is not above calling women “pigs”, Mexicans ‘rapists & murderers’, and inciting his supporters to be violent.     The GOP has come a long way since Reagan.

I’m still very pleased with Bernie’s success, he has achieved pretty much what I wanted to happen… he has pulled the Democratic Party platform to the left.   He won’t be our nominee, but he has made a great contribution to the political conversation in this country, making it OK to call yourself a Democratic Socialist and endorsing a position that says the government’s role is to protect the interests of the most vulnerable among us.

With Trump as your candidate, I’m afraid it’s going to be the ugliest & most hate-filled Presidential campaign we have ever seen.

and review my predictions on this election.  #1 has occurred.  Trump is now in position to annihilate the Hildabeast.  Yes, it will be ugly, unseemly, and very much to your cultured soul's dislike, but he will eat her lunch, with no reservations.  Get ready.  There is so much ammunition from the Hildab------ that Trump will use, dimokraps will be ashamed to show up at the polls.

Am I a Trump lover, NO; but if he finishes her off, as I predict, I might be a Trump lover.

I detect a little concern in your words.  As to Sanders, his drawing Hillary to the left actually works against your objective of a more socialist nation because it diminishes her appeal to the great majority of our country who want no part of such a repeatedly failed model.

While I didn't vote for Trump in the primary, I will vote for him in the general.  No question.  I pay enough taxes already an don't want to pay more so kids can get free college.  When I was in college I made $125/week take home during the summer, keeping $5 for spending money and putting $120 in the bank for the upcoming school year.  Because of that I APPRECIATE what I achieved.  If our kids grow up getting everything without any effort on their part, they won't know how to work for, achieve, and reap the rewards of their effort and achievement.

Finally, all liberals roundly criticize the Tea Party movement as if it were the Great Satan.  They get a bad rap.  One must remember that the "Tea" of Tea Party is an acronym meaning "Taxed Enough Already".  I agree wholeheartedly with that sentiment.  Copper if you want more for the truly deserving why don't you work to reduce the largesse now given to the undeserving and give it to the truly needy?  Taking more from me and others like me is not the answer.

I don't think Trump could be any less unschooled in foreign relations and domestic policy than we have had to endure over the last eight years. Our community organizer has really done a superb job in driving our national debt to an unthinkable level.

100% on the dimokrap congress from 2008 - 12, and especially on the o-BAMMIE idiot.

Hodja:   Do you really think that Donald Trump has the temperment, judgement & character to be the most powerful leader in the world?   When you think about what you know about leadership, particularly the leadership style of professional military commanders & statesmen... does this guy really have to fill those shoes?

Certainly more than the current resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and the presumptive Democrat nominee.  Question is: if elected will he?

Trump is unpredictable - a trait that made Reagan so effective.  World leaders were reluctant to mess with the US because in so doing they risked forceful response a la Libya.  Obama is terribly predictable....he will not stand up to an open challenge.  Just look at the crap Russia and Iran are getting away with.

Reagan was unpredictable but he was not impulsive, not an ego-maniac and not crazy (all traits desirable alongside unpredictability).  Trump is unpredictable, impulsive, an ego-maniac and bat guano crazy (all traits to be feared when paired with unpredictability)!!  There is no comparison Mr H.

Hillary is a liar, often by necessity, but she is not crazy!  Trump is a liar by impulse and he is bat guano crazy!! There is a difference Mr H.

If there was ever a year of the lesser of 2 evils this is it, and Hillary is the LOT lesser!!!

I suggest the "right wing" idiots check the polls!!  Hillary has anywhere from a 12% to 21% lead...and that is even before the Democrats start replayin Trump"s own words!

NOTE:  Alabama and this forum are NOT representative of America...thank God!!!

Since you hate Alabama and the folks here on the forum so much why don't you GO THE F#$% AWAY. Im sick of you painting everyone with the broad brush of your sick twisted and demented view of everyone to the right Bernie.

What are hilary's five best "of necesity" and five best "not of necessity" lies?

I can tell by how he acts, what he says and by some who are backing him!  In reality I think you can too but just may not be ready to admit it yet.  I just read Mary Matalin has resigned from the Republican party and announced she will be voting Libertarian...are you sure you wouldn't be more comfortable there yourself Mr H?

You compared Trump in at least one aspect to Ronald Reagan.  Reagan believed what he said, Trump is a con artist!

Broad strokes?? Please point out what I said that is not correct and get off your high horse.

I support the first amendment for you, do you do the same for me??

BTW:  When have you heard me say anything good about Bernie Sanders?  If Bernie is the Democratic candidate I will find it very difficult to vote for him.  If the GOP hadn't committed hari-kari and nominated John Kasich I would definitely vote Kasich over Bernie and probably over Hillary.  As it looks today I will have an easy choice!!

Kasich barely won his own state where he is governor. Yea republicans should surely nominate him. I love it when liberals try to tell republicans who the nominee should be. You know so little but talk so much. You like so many other POS liberals pretend to be moderate or even independent while spewing liberal talking points out both side of your a$$, er I mean mouth.

Keep up the good work Lifer...you do the extreme right and T party crowd proud with your open mind and well thought out musings and intellegent comments!!  I wouldn't be surprised if you were hired by the Trump PR team.  Brilliant, just brilliant!!

So you are completely comfortable with Trump determining foreign policy and having his finger on the nuclear trigger?  This, the man who when asked by Wolf Blitzer about what he would do if Russian jets buzzed a US ship again replied he would call Putin and tell him not to do that again!  He doesn't have a clue!!

We have seen the Alternative's less than lucid foreign policy decisions (probably shaken by being fired upon as she exited the helicoper).  Not so good.  So bird in the hand or two in the bush, and you don;t know what those two are.  I take door number Dos.

And you have not answered my question below.

I will not get into debating Hillary's foreign policy leadership.  I will say that she, Condoleeza, Colin, Rusk, Dulles, William Jennings Bryan, William Seward and every Sect'y of State since the Washington Administration have all told "lies of necessity".

Do you even concede Trump lies?

He just "trumps" and that is what they are worried about.

You had a chance to throw out Hillary's best lie of necessity = She and Brian Williams were fired upon while exiting airport.
