..........gridlock in Congress is holding up funding for Zika prevention, and the window of opportunity for actually slowing down or stopping those mosquitos is about to close.  It's a health crisis we could keep under (somewhat) control if they could get their act together and take action.  There are going to be quite a few people in the southeast affected by the virus directly, and babies who will need life long care.

The incidence of a pregnant girl giving birth to a microcephalic newborn is maybe between 1-5% if they catch the virus in the first trimester... They can't be sure yet.   In South America, there were estimates of the rate being as high as 20%.   

This could turn into another real good example of why a gridlocked & polarized government is bad for all of us, regardless of which side of the political argument we take.

In 10-15 years, you can begin visiting scores of microcephalic people who have to reside in nursinghomes and institutions because their congenital defects are so severe they can't walk, talk, or feed themselves.  When visiting them, be sure and tell their parents that they were casualties of your war on gay people.   They'll be sure and understand that the sacrifice of these children was important.   Recall, too, that institutional care is not paid for by insurances and these people will need to be taken care of by the welfare system.    

On another issue, I have come to agree with Hodja that you are a fraud... posing as both Gonefishin and Wix.  What must have started out as a joke isn't funny anymore... and just plain dishonest.   No more dealing with you until you clean up your act and come to the forum with only one (honest) identity.

I suggest you change your handle to GoneWixing, and quit toying with us.   I thought it was purely dishonest when Trump posed as his own publicist to toot his own horn, and your gambit smells the same to me.

So Copperhead, you're saying that men peeing with 12 year old girls is more important than trying to help eliminate Zika Virus.  That is exactly what you implied when you try to blame Republicans for the dimokrap effort to legitimize o-BAMMIE's stupid executive order that is holding up any progress in congress.  Copper, you are absolutely the perfect example of a brainwashed liberal with no ability to think for yourself, or reason through obvious issues and come to a logical conclusion.  Hope your life gets better.

Actually, my comments on gridlock didn't point the finger at either side... but since you brought it up, you got the reply about a war on gay people.

It's impossible to have a discussion with you because you change identities and positions with your handles... who knows what you believe or really think?   Maybe its a sign of the times that you and Trump use the media in this way, but it doesn't further anyone's understanding of the issues nor make people more likely to examine the complexities involved.   It's a dodge, based in this case on the use of the anonymous forum handles.... just as surely as Trump statements are made, then retracted, without regard to fundamental honesty.   The takeaway lesson is that you can't believe anything you read, or what anyone says.   

A sign of the times.   And no one is the better for it, after all... it's just an experiment in yet another way to lie.
