Hey, just kidding.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Thursday that he was merely being sarcastic when he said that Russia should look into Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s missing emails.

But presidential and political scholars say Trump’s remarks are no laughing matter and yet another worrisome example of the man who wants to be president acting very unpresidential.

They say Trump has yet to grasp that words, especially those from an aspiring world leader, can have serious consequences at home and abroad.

Did you see my post below where I asked "do you know sarcasm when you hear it"?  Maybe he just fooled you.

As for words do you mean like "I did not send or receive any email marked classified"

if you will look down at some posts I made in response to you or the a-idiot you will also see that I said Trump was kidding....all you had to do was listen to the inflection in his voice to know it was said in jest.....that is, unless you're a brainless dimokrap who simply reads from the dimokrap manifesto.....

Was this in jest too? There are people like you who believe it and become a supporter. Just like the wall, having Mexico pay for it, stop all Muslims from entering...then he changes. Hell of a way to conduct foreign policy.

"Mr. Trump’s position is that he is already schooled in national security issues, like how to defeat the Islamic State. “I know more about ISIS than the generals do, believe me,” Mr. Trump said in Iowa in November.

I thought you were more intelligent than that. We are really confusing poor ole Hodja.

The private server was stupid and I certainly will not defend it. Trump has never read a book from cover to cover. Gets his positions fro watching TV. Has no interest in briefings. I wonder how you can feel comfortable for your family knowing this guy will have his hand on the nuke button.

I wonder if Hillary and her emails is just an excuse cause you and others on here would never vote for a Dem even it were Trump.

If you believe the krap that comes outta The Hilda Bi---h's mouth, then don't critizise the obvious jokes that Trump may say.

Nailed it!  Most people on this forum do exactly that GF.  The determining factor on how they vote is not what the candidate says or does but what letter is usually printed after the candidate's name!

Trump's "joke" remind me of the old Will Roger's quote..."When I make a joke it is just a joke, when Congress makes a joke it's the law."  Since Herr Trump says ''he alone'' can save America I gues Will would change ''congress'' to ''Trump'' if he were around today.

As have stated, I am more against the establishment corruption than against a D.  Have voiced my disdain for Ryan, McCain, McConnell, Romney, as well as Democrats who are career thieves (I mean politicians) and continue the corrup;tion upon American folks.  I am against IRS using office for political purposes, I am against giving guns to drug lords, etc, etc

As have stated, "It's the alternative, Stupid"

"The private server was stupid and I certainly will not defend it." How much more explicit can I be? Your genius mind enables you to decifer when Trump is just a jester. Yet, the majority of his supporters follow him cause he tells it like it is. He just says whatever will get him votes. He figures once they are hooked he can say it was in jest and those with minds like yours will follow him from jest to koolaid.

Even Hodja is smarter than that and that's pushing the envelope. Make me proud of you, buddy.

You are completely correct ''it's the alternative, stupid'' and in my stupid and humble opinion, Hillary is, sadly but by a long country mile the far less dangerous of the alternatives this time around.  I am sorry, but I find if very difficult to fathom how anyone who actually is trying to vote in the best interest of America and who listens to what Trump says and does and advocates, can think otherwise.

Can anyone of the diehard GOP advocvates on this forum say with complete honesty that they would still be supporting Trump if he had the D after his name and, shall we say, Michael Bloomberg or perhaps an old Republican liberal lion such as Jacob Javits or Nelson Rockefeller was the man with the R at the end?  I know that such an option in the modern GOP is impossible, but just for fun what would happen if it happened.  Truth be known, in 2016 Nelson Rockefeller would get AL's vote for no other reason than the R after his name just as certainly as in 1948 the liberal integrationist Harry Truman carried AL because of the D after his!  I voted for "W" in 2004, Bush senior in 1992 and Reagan in 84.  I voted for Sen Isakson in 2004 and 2010 and will probably vote for him again this year.  I voted for Kemp and Olens for GA Sect'y of State and AG in 2014.  I did it because I considered them better, even if still unattractive, choices than their Democratic alternative.   When was the last time Lifer or Wixiepoo voted other than Republican candidate for any office regardless of the qualifications of either the Republican or Democrat running for that office?
