I suggest you read up on Crimea.  They have long considered themselves part of Russia, their population was mostly Russian, they wanted to be part of Russia not the Ukraine.  Trump is right, Ukraine is a basket case.   They'd probably be better off under Russia again.  the reason they are not  - becuase there is a huge Ukrainian national lobby in this country, who have never gotten over that they were invaded and made a satellite of USSR. 

There is no circular argument.  We were going to equip Ukraine with defensive weapons and now we aren't.  The truth is we just don't care that much about Ukraine.

Ukraine was never part of the USSR because they wanted to be.  With the exception of the Eastern provinces bordering Russia, they fear and dispise the Russians.  They even initially welcomed the Nazi troops a liberators in 1941!  Now as for Crimea, it was once part of Russia and Stalin ''awarded'' it to Ukraine.  Whether they want to be part of Russia I have no idea, but it WAS part of Ukraine for decades  and recognized as such by the world and was illegally and forceably annexed into Russia.  The very idea that a REPUBLICAN candidate is defending an illegal take over of part of a pro-American nation is a ''change'' to say the least if it is change you want.

Too bad, you can only accept opinions that agree with your far right thoughts. The Right likes to preach to the world only they believe in the 1st Amendment. To try an denegarde Archie or any liberal based on their Liberal thinking is not what brave men and woman die for serving in the military.
