listening to C-Span today, a former Fed Governor talking about work force--said approx 50% of unemployed will stay that way because they are on government assistance making close to or more than they would if they took a job !! so why work ??? he said The avg California assistance, ssi, food stamps, etc etc, per person is close to $55,000 a year--no wonder Mcdonalds cant get workers

No sympathy for the insurance companies. The smart ones avoided it cause of anti selection with the pre exisiting coverage. That is what is killing it. You well know Wixxiw, as someone who has told us you worked in insurance for 30 years, that it will take a few more years until the pre ex conditions have been treated before the rates will level off. Rate increases are a perfect example of Right Wing capitalism...increase your price to generate a PROFIT. NOT VERY COMPLICATED WIXXI POO. The companies who have not entered the market will probably jump in the next few years after the rates have incresed to a profitable level.

you are sooooooo full of it.   The reason o-BAMMIEcare rates are going out the roof is because your beloved o-BAMMIE delayed implementation of all the cost escalating krap till he was bailing out.  You and the world know that as a fact.  Funny thing is the law is called "Affordable", which is the joke of the century.  When insurance companies bail on a deal, you can rest assured there is no hope of a return on investment in the future.  IT IS DOOMED!!!!  Wonder how much the $6,000 deductible will be raised to for 2017!!!
