For someone to certify the vote is correct, they would verify the vote by tallying every optical vote form manually.

When the manual and machine count agree, the vote is signed certified.

At least that is how I'd do it.

Your post claimed Michelle Obama has spent 70 million.  The article referenced is about the vacation expenses for the entire First Family, not just the First Lady.  McClatchy is a respected organization but this article was repeating a claim by Judicial Watch.  Judicial Watch may be a reasonably respected organization but it is NOT and does not claim to be an unbiased organization.  It is very very conservative and a group that has been out to get Obama and the Clintons for years.  McClatchy does make it clear that Obama disputes Judicial Watch's assessment saying that some of the vacation time claimed by J.W. was actually officially job related.  I also notice you did not point out in your post the portion of the article that reveals that George W Bush took 68 vacations totaling 441 days in 8 years while in 7 years Obama has had 23 vacations totaling 177 days or that the Obamas alway personally pay for lodging costs when they are on vacation.  It costs a quarter million an hour to fly Air Force One whether a Republican or Democrat is on board.  Do you want the President of the United States and the First Family to fly Delta Tourist Class?

why don 't they or some ''liberal'' group do a FOIA demand for the cost accounting to the taxpayers of the vacations of W (405 days at the end of 7 of his 8 years) or Reagan (390 days) and of course Bill Clinton (174 days).  I think it might be very instructive.  Those numbers come from Dec 30, 2015 AOL News.  The same article pointed out that Obama's prevoius year's Christmas vacation to Hawaii cost a little over $8,000,000 but that about 95% of that was the cost of the R/T operation of Air Force 1.

The bottom line is, what ANY president and his family spends on vacations and how many days they are ''on vacation'' is not worthy of this discussion...in the scheme of things it is a drop in the bucket and, frankly, they deserve it.  A presidential vacation is more a change of scenery than a respite from work.  The rub for me comes because I am almost certain if and when the cost of Bush or Reagan vacations come out you will be a quiet as a church mouse if they end up having spent more taxpayer dollars than Obama but will burn up this forum if the opposite is revealed.

Rest assured that the vast majority of Bush's and Reagon's vacation days were restricted to Camp David, MD.  Most of the Camp David trips were full time work days just at a different location.  For a narcissist like o-BAMMIE, Camp David cramped his style too much, plus it makes him feel the dimokrap "down on the plantation".  o-BAMMIE had to be wavin' to his subjects from some remote privileged locale on earth.
