To our three resident critics of Trump everything..

When can we expect to see your defense of everything Hillary? Are you willing to put her scandals/failures up for debate on this forum? Do you have any valid argument that might convince someone to vote Hillary? Let's hear it..

I did not realize you were undecided.

When have I defended Clinton?  Many of her actions are impossible to defend.  This is a decision between two candidates, that in a sane year would never made it to the nominations.  Unfortunately for the nation this is an insane year where we have to choose between a liar who is sane and a liar who is insane...sad but easy choice.

A defense of everything Hillary?   Probably can’t do that to anyone’s satisfaction, but I can say that she deserves more support for POTUS than Trump based on her qualifications, experience & temperament.  The criticisms of Clinton vary in importance to me… many of them are baseless IMO.   Bengahzi was a tragedy but not her fault, Bill Clinton’s marital infidelities are irrelevant to her ability to perform her duties as President, her health is no better or worse than any 70 year old on average….   Using private email was a bad idea, but not a betrayal of national security

Posters here have claimed she is unqualified for the Presidency because her voice is too loud (“she sounds like she is screaming all the time”), her choice of clothing, and suggestions that she has a brain tumor based on how she holds her head on the debate stage.   The wild tales of Clinton misdeeds seem to me to be just that.  Vince Foster was not murdered by the Clintons, he committed suicide.   I don’t take the investigative reporting of The National Inquirer very seriously……no one should.

The most damning criticism of her is a lack of openness, a tendency to be extraordinarily cautious about what she says in response to criticisms & questions about her actions.   She is a lawyer by trade, and has been in the public eye all her life.   Because of these two things, she (IMO) has developed a habit of protecting herself verbally.

I will vote for her because she has a life-time of public service… starting as soon as she was in college and continuing thru being First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State.   As a lawyer, she put her career into public policy issues like child welfare.  As First Lady, she headed up the first major effort to reform US health care policy.   As Secretary of State, she traveled the world establishing the relationships she will need to conduct US Foreign Policy as POTUS.    Her lifetime in government means she can take the office of POTUS with familiarity & experience as opposed to extreme new-comer Trump.   In a rapidly changing world, we really don’t have time for Trump to learn how to manage the most pressured job in the world… and most of us (including his supporters) doubt he really wants to be Presidential anyway.

Most of all, I think her cautious & studious nature will be a plus as POTUS.  I do not want a President who ‘shoots from the hip’ and fails to deeply consider the repercussions of their actions… or statements.

The say ‘Let Trump be Trump’, as if his inexperience means nothing and his often-expressed confidence in himself will be enough to make him a great President.     If I have great confidence that I could fly a jet plane…  I still don’t think many people would agree to take a ride with me.   That’s just common sense.

I disagree.  I would not have voted for McCain because I didn't think much of his policies at the time.   This time around, I couldn't vote for Trump simply because he HAS no coherent policies.

And then there was McCain's choice of VP....Sarah Palin.... who didn't need to be anywhere near the Oval Office IMO.
