Although Trump leads in Alabama among most likely to vote, it's a fact that Clinton leads among dead people most likely to vote. Since there are more dead people in Alabama than living....the odds are that Clinton can still squeak out a victory.

Trump may well surpress the GOP vote by screaming rigged. If it is rigged, why waste your time and vote?

You make our case for us.

Sad part is you said it as a joke - unfornuatly the joke is on the American people.

https://www.jacobinmag.com/2016/05/war-iraq-bill-clinton-sanctions-desert-fox/

An assault on Iraq without the support of much of the international community and over the cries of the antiwar movement — it all sounds very familiar. Yet the bombing in question came on February 16, 2001, two years before the American invasion of Iraq and less than a month after George W. Bush’s inauguration.

And on some level, they were. When Bush entered the White House, the US (with help from the UK) was bombing Iraq an average of three times a week. In 1999, the US spent  $1 billion dropping bombs in Iraq; in 2000, that number was up to $1.4 billion.

The new strategy may also have domestic political benefits for Clinton by deflecting some GOP heat he is under to implement the Iraq Liberation Act. The act, which he signed late last year, gives him up to $97 million to finance an insurrection against Saddam by opposition groups.

Yup all them damn Bush wars - which was a continuation of wait for it ... .a Clinton War.

and we can not forget that Hillary herself was shot at while landing in another of Bill's war zones.

Just seems like a big difference between bombing and sending in massive numbers of ground troops with no end game. Why didn't Bush just continue Clinton's bombing if it was such a big deal? Looks like we will have to agree to disagree.

Maybe because he felt the Clinton Bomb them without an end game was not effective, not thought out, not a good solution.

Never said Bush was smart for continuing the bombing or escalating the war - but I guess you feel its ok to continue a war without any change at all as long as its a billion a year.

Personally I think we need to get out of the global police force mindset, and when it comes to someone who actually attacks us such as Pearl Harbor or 9/11 we return the favor with a level of magnatude that will make the next person really think twice.
