Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte announced his "separation" from the United States on Thursday, declaring he had realigned with China as the two agreed to resolve their South China Sea dispute through talks.

"Both in military, not maybe social, but economics also. America has lost."

"I've realigned myself in your ideological flow and maybe I will also go to Russia to talk to (President Vladimir) Putin and tell him that there are three of us against the world - China, Philippines and Russia. It's the only way," Duterte told his Beijing audience.

"We are going to be seeking an explanation of exactly what the president meant when he talked about separation from the U.S.," said State Department spokesman John Kirby. "It's not clear to us exactly what that means in all its ramifications."

Looks like we just lost more allies to Russia. ohhhhhhh its them dirty Russians and Philippine's trying to influence our election.  Oh wait -  this is a direct response to the not yet elected possibility of Trump getting elected - The Philippine president just could not take any chances that he would have to deal with him so just went ahead and did a pre-emptive strike.

Oh no the Pied Piper of Alabamastan has stuck again -----  cause its obviosuly not a fault of our current administration or the possibility that its thought processes continue on through Hillary.  That would be just plain silly to think that people would cut off ties with the US over current policies and actions.

Probably all those renegotiated trade deals that Trump wants - it has to be.

Hardly a surprise after he cursed out our President out at the last Summit.  I can't remember if they are a member of ASEAN.  Maybe he intends to drop out.  It's a little late for him to cut the U.S. out - that was done when they insisted our Navy leave and we did.

Only if they do not use the bathroom associated with their birth gender.

To me i thought the US response was the most intersting since we have such wonderful intelligence agencies.  They cussed us out, tossed out the navy and have now sided with Russia.
