I see where the Mayors of San Francisco and Chicago state that their cities will remain sanctuary cities for illegal immigrants. In fact, the Mayor of San Francisco said they would "always" be a sanctuary city. How do you explain their actions when they are in direct violation of federal law? It is "ok" for the common man to be fearful of known criminals who are in their midst, yet their own President doesn't have to share this "fear" because he and his family are among the "privledged" and have 24 hour SecretService" protection.

I had never even heard of sancturary cities until this year.  That is just the kind of BS we don't need.  They can say what they want, but if there is a law saying there won't be, then legal action will be required to put an end to it.

The Mayor of Sante Fe NM was on Megan Kelly tonight. He appeared to be a reasonably nice guy, but his rationale for justification of sancturary cities was was about as far fetched as one could imagine. He used statistics showing that Sante Fe had not shown an appreciable increase in crime over the last few years to support his case. He also said that they take people in, don't question whether they are illegal or not, try to fit them into their community, help them find jobs which in turn is taking away jobs away from legitimate citizens, and adds to the cost for schooiing, medical care, and other services that they are receiving. He kept emphasizing that he was dealing with "reality" regardless of the fact that they were illegal immigrants and could also be criminals. It was like he felt obligated to help them not withstanding the fact that they were breaking the federal law.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                There are over 30 States with over 300 jurisdictions that have been identified as having a policy that is non-cooperative and obstructs immigration enforcement. All of these locations have come about during Obama's eight years. We have no idea to what extent our country is housing illegal immigrants and what their intentions are for being here. We should consider ourselves lucky that we are not subjected to Hillary for the next four or eight years.
