Now we know where the college students got their attitude.....

msnbc, cnn, press corps = "mr trump's not letting us play"   "they took their own pictures of the Japanese meeting and we're not going to show them"  "they let ivanka play but not us"   "he didn't invite us to dinner"  boo hoo

I don't blame him.  The media has treated him like s--t.  I understand that they were upset that Ivanka got to sit in the meeting with the Japanese.  Don't see why it is a problem, because there are almost always assorted hangers on sitting in these meetings.  Even now they spend way too much time dogging his every move.  I don't think you'll see him pandering to the press.

Oh, I am saying that the press IS the problem.  They don't get their way, so now they are so upset with DJT.  College students doing the same thing.

I think Trump can have anyone he wants in a meeting.  He can get all the advice he wants from whomever he wants.  Just don;t put them on payroll.

Best line I heard during and after the election:

"The press took Trump literally, but not seriously.

His supporters took him seriously, but not literally."

There is a lot of truth in that saying.   I hope he sticks it to the press.  Even now they are trying to stir up crap with segments such as
"how to get through Thanksgiving after this painful election".

I have thoroughly enjoyed watching CNN and msnbc scramble to gain some resemblance of credibillity.  My hope before the election was that technology had changed so much that existing political assumptions (eg polling) were greatly skewed, and that the mainstream media would be saying 'how did we get this so wrong?"   Not in my wildest dreams could I have imagined how good it would be.

And then today msnbc had a quest who was appalled that some of trump's appointees would oppose obama policies and directives.   Hello, trump won because folks wanted to oppose our current direction!

Heck, he was elected IN SPITE OF the press, so why should he give a flip?

This election cycle showed just how much the media can influence people's decision making on key issues affecting our daily lives. I think that one of the major reasons the media  has reached this point is primarily the rapidity with which any happening can reach the eyes and ears of everyone around the world. The fact that in a moments notice you can see real time events taking place all over the world. We hear so much about how Facebook and other social media outlets have become a minute to minute sharing of information and can immediately influence people's actions, either good or bad. As I think many people are saying, the media probably helped Trump win the election because they thought that we "deplorables" were unable to think for ourselves and would therefore believe whatever "line" they would feed us. They failed to realize that the "bull" they had been espousing for the last eight years was not the "change" we wanted to hear. And once we realized that Hillary's message was simply another four or eight years of Obama, the "cookie" finally crumbled.

The protests and riots which are now continuing has actually identified who the "deplorables" really are and they have to take their vengeance out on law abiding citizens of our country. Most of the people participating in the protests and riots didn't vote in the election and are being paid and bused in from other states. Those persons that are carrying out violence on other people and are burning and destroying other peoples property are committing treason and should be apprehended for breaking the law. The fact that students at our high schools and universities and who in many cases are encouraged by faculty and administrators are walking out of class and protesting is deplorable. They should be told that those that fail to return to class will not receive credit and could affect the graduation of those eligible for graduation. Faculty and administrators at institutions receiving state and federal monies should be advised that funds will be withdrawn unless "leadership" demands immediate return to class.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              I think we all know or should know about Saul Alinsky( an American community organizer and writer who is generally considered to be the founder of modern community organizing and is often noted for his 1971 book Rules for Radicals).  Hillary "greatly admirerd" him and said he was "one of her heroes, her mentors". She admired him so much that her senior thesis was about him. Also, Obama was an admirer of Alinsky and his son wrote a letter for the Obama campaign in 2008. This whole story of Alinsky, Obama, and Hillary is sickening.

this morning, I briefly watched CNN as they picked apart every appointee that Trump has announced.  This morning in particular they were picking on Jeff Sessions for his voting a long time ago. Do they not think that people evolve as they get older and more experienced?  or as society changes?

I see that Obama is already apologizing for Trump and warning about "dark" deals to the Europeans.  So a smooth transition is only something to say and not something he believes in.

I see o-BAMMIE as one of the biggest threats to democracy in America for decades to come.  This idiot will probably be a bigger problem after January than he was as HMFWIC.  He will continuously seek the headlines, and of course the alphabet idiots will keep him in the spotlights.  You can see right now with the stupid comments he is making overseas, that he sees himself as the savior of the world.  Something's got to change....

Instead of a platform of "hope" and "change", Obama should leave a legacy of "apologizing".

Well looks like Trump told the reporters what he thought of them!

I can't say I blame him and I think it is fair.  What is the worst they do?  Write false stories about him?  they already to that.   It's time the media understands that their job is to report the facts - not twist them to suit their politics.

Yup  dont need to know what he had for supper or if he used the correct fork etc.  I find it funny that he is bypassing them and telling them to stick it in their ear.  Still think it would cause lots of heads to explode if he appointed Matt Drudge as his press secretary.
