Yep. Named Abdullah Mohammed but his motivations are not yet known..if it was Bubba with a Confederate Battle Flag they would know his motivation as racism and probably a Trump supporter before the first report was aired. More proof we need to increase the immigration from Muslim Sh!t holes.

Furthermore, “The Lantern” — OSU’s campus newspaper — ran an interview with Artan just a few months ago, in which he criticized the school for not having Muslim prayer rooms on campus.

“I wanted to pray in the open, but I was kind of scared with everything going on in the media,” he stated. “I’m a Muslim, it’s not what the media portrays me to be.”

Law enforcement officials told NBC News the suspect's name is Abdul Razaq Ali Artan, an 18-year-old student at the university. He was a Somali refugee who left his homeland with his family in 2007, lived in Pakistan and then came to the United States in 2014 as a legal permanent resident of the United States, officials said.

Its that religion of peace, probably Triggered by Trump and his rhetoric about needing to look into people wanting to come into this country.  To me it makes his point, we do need to know who is coming into this country.

Apparently his social media accounts have contained some language that makes investigaters think he was becoming radialized. Now that safe spaces have become the norm at Universities, I don't care if they have a prayer room for Muslims, as long as they have one for Catholics, Protestants and Jews.   My first thought yesterday was that now the anti-gun people will likely want to ban knives too.  And now maybe cars.  It really goes to show anything can be a weapon. 

I don't know what we can do about Muslims in this country who become radicalized after they get here.  I'm very much in favor with coming up with a screening process. Some will say that it is discrimination, but then, if the same thing keeps happening over and over with the same group, it seems sensible to me.  Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome is insane.

Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine said Monday he was saddened by the “senseless act of gun violence” at Ohio State University, even though the attacker used a butcher knife and a car.

Nope its still that evil gun - even though the only one used was by the officer who solved the problem.  

We do not have private rooms for anyone else - well except the transgendered restrooms ehm family restrooms. Why should we provide something for someone when we do not provide it for anyone else?  where do we stop wiccans?  pegans? statanists? catholics? baptists? buddhists?  You have a private space - its called your home.  I do not need you kneeling in the middle of I-65 to pray, Go to a park or something but why the hell should we build someone a private space for their personal use.  Maybe they need to pack one of those little sideline tents that are used for injured football players and they can just stop drop flip it over and do whatever - but then again the perverts would start using it too.

When did it become the University / everyone elses responsibility to supply you with your needs?  if you can bring your own pen/paper/books/calculator/laptop/whatever - supply your own stuff.

I can't disagree with you.  I've seen Muslims throw down their prayer rug and pray in public.  This is about the 5th time I have heard of Somolians (or previous) demanding something to accomodate them.  Saw two recently being interviewed that said they thought Shar'ia Law should be imposed.  Yes, this country has always been a melting pot, but it has meant that people did their best to integate themselves into this county and leave the old ways to their home.
