The GOP congress now has to act to repeal Obamacare. It will be interesting to see how they get rid of mandates, keep coverage for pre exiting conditions for new insureds, and reduce rates by offering policies across state lines. It sure is different when you win than when you can vote tor epeal to get votes knowing Obama will bail you out from having to replace it.

If you are on Medicare, they plan to change the program so you receive a voucher and then you go shopping for coverage. Vouchers never cover the cost so be prepared for major changes. The Dems in congress will fight to save Medicare but the country has spoken.

U.S. Republicans quibble over effective date of Obamacare repeal

that would be because we would prefer to take our time and look it over for consequences vs pass it to find out what is in it lol.  It is stupid to think you can repeal it overnight without any consequences and get it right the 1st time.  Obamacare is a joke and a failure.  Keep your doctor keep your plan ... the American people were lied to, the bill was hidden from view till after it was passed.

Now Shortbus, I know you like those looney tune websites, but Sandy Hook did happen.  Children were killed.  But the Gun Control people exploited the incident to make it about gun control and what better way to push your point of view, than to exploit dead children.  They do it after every incident of mass shootings.  They also try to blackmail companies into adopting a "no guns on premises" policy.

While "Moral" may be debatable - I would say the Huffington Post sums it up somewhat - Less republicans think most things are less moral then Democrats.  Death Penality I can get behind, wearing animal fur - would rather use the whole animal then let parts go to waste, medical testing on animals - I can see where in some instances it would not be a bad thing, would prefer it not to be used just for giggles, because at that point you cant eat it, or probably wear it, so wasteful in my eyes.

And yes politicans (both sides)  love to talk about how good and moral they are - but we know they are lying, there lips are moving.

 We know they are sinful human beings, just like the rest of us deplorables.  I find it funny from their own statistics that 50% of democats think the death penality is immoral, 70% dont want to wear animal fur, but 75% is ok with medical research from embryos 60% think abortion is ok.    So, Democrats care more about animals then children by their own statistics by 5%, maybe its because animals can not communicate? neither can the unborn which they consider "choice".

Not being there I cannot say if it did or did not happen and that the reports from media was 100% accurate. But I will say I would not put it past politicans to lie or exaggerate for their agenda.  Just ask the man who did the YouTube video that was blamed for Benghazi and was jailed for it.

I will also agree that there is enough information to make me doubt the "facts" as they have been reported, but not enough to make me believe that they staged it at a closed school and were able to keep that many people quiet if it was faked, someone always wants to run their mouth about stuff that makes them feel important.  In the era of Youtube people are stupid and love to hand evidence of wrong doing over all the time.

Was it hyped for gun control - you better believe it.
