Guess Facebook does not have to worry too much about what is fake.  Governement will tell us what is real and not and probably be the gatekeepers of information.

I see a lot of news on social media and I ignore most of it, assuming that it is spun to one political side or the other.  Really need to check sources before latching onto it as truth.

but the bad part is, it is getting harder and harder to be able to trust a "news" source.  I read liberal and "alt-right" because I know the truth is somewhere in the middle.

The final paragraph is about Winston's momentary state of mind just before death:

He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother."
