From the news tonight, Trump and Obama were briefed that there is 'irrefutable" intelligence that Russians have compromising financial and personal data on Trump. 

So now what?  Do they think that he wil throw up his hands and give up the Presidency?  And why did they make this public?

What's worth talking about, however, are swirling claims on Reddit that 4chan users on the board /pol/ completely made the entire thing up. According to a variety of posts on the pro-Trump subreddit r/The_Donald, a user on /pol/, a 4chan board, made up the most salacious story in the report. He then mailed it to anti-Trump Republican strategist Rick Wilson, who then went to the CIA. The story was then included on the dossier published Tuesday by BuzzFeed News.

While literally no aspect of anything that was reported tonight by both BuzzFeed News and 4chan has been confirmed or verified, it is an odd coincidence that a 4chan post from prior to the election seems to match up with what was released on Tuesday.

This would also be the same intelligence that leaked classified or highly confidential informaiton to NBC before PEOTUS was briefed.

Just another attempt by unhinged losers to try to further the russian angle to try to imply that Trump is unfit.  If the above is true - then our intelligence community has major problems if they want to publish as fact a false story with modifications to toss in the Russian spies/government/Putin etc - If they do not vet and verify their information then I guess our intelligence community is about as reliable as a drunk liberal fisherman.

Hopefully as soon as Trump gets past the 20th some of these "intelligence" agencies will have a new boss and be held accountable for their actions.  If they do have tapes of him with prostitutes urinating on a bed that obama once slept in - well lets see the proof and then we can hold the Donald accountable, oh but wait the russians are sitting on it to blackmail him later.  So someone in  British intelligence learns from someone in Russian bragging that Donald had prostitutes pee on a bed and are going to use it to blackmail him ... usually blackmail works much better if you dont run around talking about it, and flashing it around.  

Apparently Russia is so inept that they are taking blackmail instructions from a nigerian prince who wanted to deposit lots of cash in your account and you can have millions as a fee.  JV team or world super power?

Sworn Donald Trump enemy John McCain admitted Wednesday that he passed the dossier of claims of a Russian blackmail plot against the president-elect.

The Arizona senator issued a public statement amid mounting questions of his exact role in the affair - and how a document riddled with errors and unverifiable claims came to be published.

'Late last year, I received sensitive information that has since been made public,' he said.

'Upon examination of the contents, and unable to make a judgment about their accuracy, I delivered the information to the Director of the FBI. 

'That has been the extent of my contact with the FBI or any other government agency regarding this issue.'

But the 2008 Republican loser, who disowned his party's candidate weeks before the election, may have been far more intimately involved than that. 

Smith said the dossier contained 'explosive and unverified allegations about Donald Trump and Russia'. 

He justified the decision to release the information to allow Americans 'to make up their own minds about the allegations' which had been circulated at the 'highest levels of the US government'. 

Smith claimed publishing the dossier was an example of 'transparent' journalism. 

Further down in his memo, he appeared to discredit his own story as 'there is serious reason to doubt the allegations'. 

If nothing else it is shining a light on some roaches when they admit they were part of it!

Fake news is the attack method being used these days just like the fake auto dealer adds of yesteryear, (great deals if you don't read the fine print). Headline has all the info they want to diseminate then a lot of hperbole mainly to hide the disclamer at the end saying that the article was either satire or may or may not be true, it is then picked up and shot round the web for mass distribution until a major lazy press runs it in the headlins, then retracks on the back page a week later. Welcome to the new world of news.

So Trump wanted to stay in the same room as obammy and then was video taped with prostitutes. Yea, that happened. So what our "intellegence" agencies are saying is that the room that the obammys stayed in was compromised with audio/video surveillance, yet they allowed the POTUS to stay in that room. I guess our intelligence agencies and secret service have been  compromised even more than anybody thought.

The fact that any government agency or news organization gave this more than 2 seconds thought, much less action, shows how far this country has sunk into depravity. This sounds like something some juvenile thought up sitting in basement with his pimply faced friends on a weekend sleepover but it is dominating a news cycle. The 20th can't get here fast enough.

Most government officials get the standard intelligence briefing before going overseas, and they warn you that your room may be bugged and that you should not leave any papers laying around in your room, as they will likely be gone through.  I know that in the international community also are told his, and I am sure that Trump knows this as well.  It's been like this since I started taveling overseas back in the 80s.

I remember seeing documentaries on TV talking about back to nixon and further with cameras and audio recordings - I think warnings went much further back then the 80s
