I see this post is a couple of months old, so you may have already setup your internet service.  In case you haven't, I thought I'd share our experience with internet service around Brushy Creek.  Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of choices in our area.  When we first started looking for internet providers, we decided to try Dish Net.  The technician put the dish on our roof, even though we told him that we wanted it on a pole, and then spent 4 days trying to get a signal.  During the following 4 months we had 3 more technicians come out to try to figure out why we were not getting a signal.  The last technician told us that Dish had installed faulty equipment, but Dish was not willing to replace it.  When we told Dish that we either wanted new equipment or our service cancelled, Dish informed us that they would not provide new equpment, and if we decided to cancel the service we would have to pay them $350. for an early cancellation fee.  I could go on and on with the saga, but I will spare you the details.  Don't go with Dish if you can help it.  We now have CenturyLink.  It is not very fast, but at least we have service, and it is much cheaper than what Dish charges.

Thank you Lakehound. We went with AT&T and Direct.

It was a pain dealing with AT&T but now that it's installed it

works pretty good.
