I was responding to GFY where he was whining about spelling and grammar, please go pound sand preferably with your face.  I find it laughable that GFY can claim a moral high ground pointing out a typo while admitting he makes typos cause he is ignorant of the use of a keyboard.

I assume not all of your posts are 100% correct in spelling, grammar and the Oxford comma?

Am I to understand that you never make a spelling misteak because you know how to spell every word and if a word is mispelled in your post it is a "typo"? There are many people who don't have an opportunity to go to collage and some(for whatever the reason), did not finish high school. If anyone(irrregardless of their education) makes an honest attempt to voice there opinions, I don't they should be called out just because they didn't spell a word correctly. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe your spelling of the word "maybe" should have been "may be". Sometimes it doesn't pay for the "pot" to call the "kettle" black.

Yeah, Capt Stupid claims he has reasons for his mistakes, but everyone else is just unintelligent stupid heads,  I could not believe that he was calling out mistakes at the same time saying that because he did not take a simple keyboarding class when he was young excuses his errors.  Made me laugh all day.

Back 12-15 years ago we had a spelling and Grammer police here on the forum. She was a nasty little snit about it too. She eventually gave up and went away thank God. I've been trying to remember her name. Maybe somebody else can.

Spell checker has evolved into auto-correct which is a double edged sword. Wonderful in so many ways but it has its faults. One tends to make the same typing mistakes repeatedly so as your keyboard is learning it can learn a misspelled word you type repeatedly. Next thing you know auto-correct will replace the correctly spelled word with your "personal version". I agree Noone should be correcting anybody else would never have embarrassed myself by even entering a spelling bee.

As usual you chose to ignore my above post(12.32.37) where I commented on the post you made about Phil's spelling. As you will note, part of my comments had to do with your word(maybe). In addition, I will offer the following regarding your above post(7.54.37) since I am already on your list as a "deplorable". You can now add me to your list as a "nerd" since I took typing in high school. I did very well in my typing class. In fact, I was the fastest when we were tested on WPM(words per minute) in a timed exercises. One of the timed portion of the test was the following: "Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their Country". Coincidentally, I believe that we are at a point in history where those same words express the needs of todays society.

I did not respond to avoid embarrassing you. You used a "non standard" word irregardless. Tell me how the word differs from the correct word regardless? "Re" make it a negative and adding "ir" makes it a double negative. I used irregardles for years until my wife finally set me straight.

I'm sorry you didn't get to embarrass me, so perhaps you will be embarrassed instead. I thought it wasn't going to happen, but you finally fell for my "trap". I also misspelled(mispelled), mistake(misteak), college(collage), regardless(irregardless), and their(there). I'm sure glad I used "irregardless" or else you would not have been able to demonstrate your knowledge on negatives and double negatives. You must have been an English professor. Some of the English professors I knew were "nerds".                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Regardless of what President Trump says, I still think he is right on target.
